Stagecoach Canada students impress audiences in two day showcase

Spanning over two days Stagecoach Students dazzled audiences in Canada with performances.

Day one kicked off at The Toronto Centre for the Arts with 12 schools performing in a showcase. The school’s individual performances were topped off with joint choral performances where all the schools joined together to perform songs from Queen, The Beatles, Walk The Moon and Ed Sheeran.

For many of the students, this was their first time performing on stage. Student Grace said "I’m not really that nervous, I keep thinking that we practised for so long it’s just going to be so much fun!"

Well done to all of those who performed:

Day two’s performances were held at The Bluma Appel, where seven schools worked together to put on a fabulous rendition of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Student Jack said, “I’ve been preparing by running through all my lines and songs, at home doing the dances and practising my Elvis impression mostly”

Each school perfected a number or two from the show, which then joined together to form the full show on the night. All of the schools who took part came together to perform the final number, filling the stage and rasing the roof.

Well done to all of those who performed:
