Summer Showcase 2023 Show Reveal...
It’s a chilly and windy November at Stagecoach HQ, we’ve put the Halloween decorations away and talk of Christmas is creeping in but that hasn’t stopped us from dreaming about next summer. Why, you might ask? That’ll be because August 2023 will see a brand new Summer Showcase production!

Back in August of this year, students from Stagecoach schools across the UK as well as Germany, Malta and Australia came together for two weeks of performing arts fun as they rehearsed The Addams Family. This spooky and kooky show featured Wednesday Addams finding love and bringing her fiancée and his family home to meet the Addams. At the end of the two weeks, the company of young performers took to the Beck Theatre stage for four performances of the show. They were absolutely fantastic and had a brilliant time. The hilarious production was a big hit with students and audiences alike.

So, with that, please imagine a drum roll as we reveal 2023’s Summer Showcase show will be… Grease! Our Summer Showcase cast of ‘23 will be heading to Rydell High to bring the classic musical to life. They’ll be driving Grease Lightnin’ and taking part in the iconic school dance next year.

Gary Jerry, the director of Summer Showcase said, “As a Showcase team, we have been longing and actively trying to work on this production for many years now, and finally all the right pieces have come into play and we are incredibly excited to get started. I encourage all young performers, no matter how much experience they have, to come and join us for our audition workshops  - we’re aiming to find a passionate, diverse, energetic and dedicated Class at Rydell High, so why not come and see for yourselves why Summer Showcase 2023 is set to be our biggest yet, and get to know why Grease truly is THE word.”

Keep your diaries open next February half term for auditions, we’ll be announcing dates shortly. We can’t wait to see a new cast jive onto the stage and wow us all again.
