‘A Celebration of Young Voices’ - Birmingham Symphony Hall

Wow, what a night! On Sunday 26th June the Birmingham Symphony Hall played host to ‘A Celebration of Young Voices’, a spectacular evening full of music and joy.

Over 500 students over from eleven school choirs proudly performed to an audience of over 1,400 to showcase their rehearsed choral pieces and nine additional schools joined in with the event with the massed choral numbers.

To add to the spectacle our Stagecoach schools were accompanied by the fantastic Birmingham Schools’ Concert Orchestra, with 100 students forming a full orchestra. Compered by Matt Baker, the evening flowed through various styles of music from ‘Sister Act’ and ‘Rent’  to ‘Coldplay’ and ‘Beyonce’ as well as performance of Disney's ‘Frozen’ by  ‘the Birmingham Schools’ Concert orchestra, and even the audience joined in with light up finger torches which decorated Symphony Hall in colour for the finale.

Stagecoach are so proud to have hosted such a memorable evening and hope everyone who took part will do so again.
Congratulations to all involved!
