Stagecoach Acting, Singing and Dance Classes & Times

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Our performing arts school is a thriving hub of activity, buzzing with creativity. Every Saturday during term time, boys and girls enjoy learning the performing arts of dance, singing and drama under the excellent guidance of our amazing professional teachers. From the youngest student at 4 years old all the way up to our 16 years olds, every student leaves with a smile on their face. We treat every student as an individual and due to small class sizes, we are able to focus independently on each child’s needs.

There is no need to find separate singing, dance and drama classes in Worthing and the surrounding areas, when Stagecoach Worthing offers all three to a high standard under one roof!

We strive to offer high quality training in all disciplines of singing, dance and drama.

Dance:  We mainly cover modern/ jazz dance with elements of street dance, hip hop and contemporary.

Drama:  In drama we cover a variety of skills from improvisation, physicality, speech and accent work, script work to mime and exploring character and genres.

Singing:  Exploring music and song from the latest in pop to the classics of musical theatre we have a wide range that we work on in singing, enhancing skills in harmonies, creativity through lyric and music writing and improvisation.

There is a performance by all our students for friends and family twice a year, usually at the end of the Autumn and Summer terms. We have previously performed on stage in different theatres such as the national ‘Stagecoach Live!’ event at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket, London and the Stagecoach regional event at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing and The Hawth Theatre in Crawley.

Stagecoach Theatre Arts Worthing is located at Vale (First and Middle) School, Vale Avenue, Worthing BN14 0DB. The schools’ excellent facilities are ideal for our classes; there is a car park and the view of Cissbury Ring is fabulous!
