Matilda the Musical

We are so thrilled to announce that our Saturday afternoon School will be doing Matilda the Musical next term for there show. . . . If you would like your child to have the opportunity to be part of our version of Matilda the Musical sign up to our afternoon today for a two-week trial.

NEW FURTHER STAGES

We are excited to announce are new further stages classes starting in September. they will be on a Friday night from 18:00-20:30 for students 15+ who are looking to take their skills to the next level.

Want to come and try Stagecoach before you join? We offer a 2-week trial costing £25 for Early Stages and £50 for Main School (amount is deducted from remaining fees if your child signs up for the term.) It's the perfect opportunity for your child to then if you're happy, you stay and join us for the term!

BIRMINGHAM SYMPHONY HALL

⭐️⭐️ EXCITING NEWS FOR NEXT YEAR ⭐️⭐️ stagecoach Witney we have been invited to Birmingham Symphony Hall in July 2020 for an Evening with Rodgers and Hammerstein. being joined by The Birmingham Youth Orchestra who will be bringing their 100 piece Orchestra to support with this magnificent musical extravaganza.

PAA Exam results!

Stagecoach Witney students have excelled themselves yet again. 100% pass rate with every student gaining a Merit or Distinction pass. This is amazing and puts us at the top nationwide as a school of outstanding performance achievement. Well Done to ALL our students.

Our Summer Show

our show this term was a night at the movies, where we took our parents through the world of the silver screen with music, drama and dance for some of our favourite movies musicals and tv shows.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principal - Marcus Quint

Marcus has always had a Passionate for the arts starting his training at the swindon dance academy at young age, then moving to Stagecoach Theatre Arts Witney were he was a student for 9 years contributing much to many Stagecoach performances throughout that time. he progressed through all the Grades in PAA awards which include all three disciplines of Dance, Drama and Singing, gaining a Distinction in Grade 7. Then went on to study Perfoming arts at Cirencester Collage.

Marcus has performed in many theatre productions and local tours including Mr Twimble in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Judge in Wind in the Willows; Oliver & Jack the Ripper, as well as many accolades in his dance performances and choreographing skills. Marcus has worked in all aspects of theatre as an actor, singer, dancer and even technician being prepared to turn his had to most jobs that require doing Marcus has been a part of the Stagecoach family for over 14 years and is thrilled to now be furthering his Stagecoach journey as the Principal of Stagecoach Witney. As a ex student previous dance tutor for Stagecoach Marcus has first handedly experienced and witnessed the positive impact that the creative arts can have on children and their unique life journey. he is extremely excited to have the opportunity to inspire the students just like he was when he was a student.
