Stagecoach West Bridgford has been providing quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting for over 18 years. As part of the UK's largest part time performing arts schools network in the world Stagecoach West Bridgford is more than just a stage school, theatre school or drama school.

We are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.

Tom is the new Principal at Stagecoach West Bridgford, he has been a professional dancer and choreographer for almost 20 years, initially gaining his BA (Hons) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He went on to dance with leading choreographers and companies performing all over the world including in Mathew Bourne’s “Swan Lake before setting up his own Tom Dale Company which continues to tour cutting edge dance productions internationally.  Tom also has extensive teaching experience having taught at all of the leading conservatoires for dance in the UK as well as in bespoke projects nationally and internationally. Tom is thrilled to have the opportunity to pass on his experience to Stagecoach students in West Bridgford.

NEW SCHOOL

Due to popular demand, we have a NEW Main Stages class opening in West Bridgford at Rushcliffe School that runs on Friday evenings 5-8pm. Join our fun performing arts classes for children aged 6-18 years today.

NEW EARLY STAGES SESSION

We have a new Early Stages session on Saturdays at the Becket School 2.15-3.45pm.

Saturday school shows

Saturday school main stages end of term shows. 30th November. Morning school- starts at 11.30am. Afternoon school- starts at 4pm

Friday school xmas show

Friday school- West Bridgford light switch on performance. Saturday 23rd November at 4 pm.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - BA (Hons) - Tom Dale

Tom Dale has been a professional dancer and choreographer for almost 20 years performing all over the world with his own company and others. Tom graduated from Trinty Laban Conservatoire of music and dance winning the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography in 1998. He danced with leading choreographers and companies including Mathew Bourne’s ”Swanlake” before focusing on creating his own work and forming Tom Dale Company (TDC). TDC has toured its critically acclaimed pieces nationally and internationally performing all over the UK and in many countries around the world including, China, Vietnam, Cuba, India, Germany, Poland, Holland and Croatia. Tom has also run award-winning participatory activities which enable engagement with dance and digital technology, inspiring young people in schools, universities, conservatoires and through bespoke projects.
