Stagecoach Upper Norwood

Welcome to Stagecoach Upper Norwood Theatre Arts, where we are passionate about developing the skills and life skills of young performers. My name is Charissa Miller-Hayles and I myself attended a Stagecoach performing arts school between the ages of six and eighteen. I then began assisting and teaching and have now entered into the role of principal. Throughout my life Stagecoach Theatre Arts has provided me with confidence and has inspired my love for Musical Theatre and Performing Arts. I am a principle that wholeheartedly believes and trusts in Stagecoach and all it offers to children, both on and off the stage.

Stagecoach Upper Norwood is a fun and vibrant place to gain confidence, learn new skills, have fun, and new friends are just a few of the things all students can gain with us.

Welcome to Early stages

We would like to introduce to you the Stagecoach Upper Norwood Early Stages Bear. Courtney Rocker is the name chosen by the students in Early Stages. The bear belongs to all the students but gets the opportunity to go home with one student a week who has made positive progress during the class. So welcome to Early Stages Courtney Rocker.

Stagecoach is 30

Stagecoach is celebrating it's 30 year anniversary. On the left side is Darryl who used to be the Early stages Assistant at Stagecoach Upper Norwood. How exciting to see Darryl part of the Stagecoach national advertising. Darryl is looking cool as always.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)
