Stagecoach Stourbridge has been providing quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting for over 10 years. As part of  one of the longest running and most successful children's performing arts schools network in the world Stagecoach Stourbridge is more than just a stage school, theatre school or drama school.

We are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.

Meet The Team

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Teachers

Principal - Catherine Needle - BA(Hons)

Catherine is originally from Llanelli, South Wales and started performing at an early age, frequently appearing in regional theatre and television. At the age of 18 Catherine won a full scholarship to study at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and graduated in 2003 with a 1st class BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. She went on to have a successful career in theatre and television.
West End and UK touring credits include Little Shop Of Horrors, High School Musical, Rent, Fiddler On The Roof, The Blues Brothers, The Rat Pack, Amazing Grace, A Child's Christmas In Wales and Jesus Christ Superstar. TV credits include Torchwood, Blue Peter, The Wales Show and Just Up Your Street. 
Catherine started working for Stagecoach after the birth of her daughter, teaching Singing and Dance at Stagecoach Solihull and Singing at Stagecoach Stourbridge. Catherine is very proud and excited to take on the role of Principal at Stourbridge, where she believes children of all abilities can thrive in a creative, secure and fun environment.
