Stagecoach Stanmore & Harrow Weald

Founded in Stanmore in 1995, we’re still going strong in delivering our aim to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes for children.

Stagecoach may be a big International brand, but each school is independently run by its Principal with community at its heart. Our students come to Stagecoach with a variety of aims and we as a team of industry professionals, love the challenge in meeting those needs and aims with our structured classes and fun content! We encourage good lines in communication between home, other activites, school and us, in creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for your child to shine!

Our classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays during term time and we work toward a common goal or project every term.

We offer Performing Arts Exams

Meet The Team

Principal - Jayne Hardy - BA (Hons)

Jayne took over as principal of Stagecoach Stanmore in 2010. Jayne trained in Theatre Acting: Devised Theatre at Bretton Hall in the grounds of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park surrounded by creative people, a perfect way to try her hand at everything and learn how to collaborate. Prior to becoming a principal, Jayne has had a varied career in the performing arts; as both singing and drama teacher at Stagecoach Leatherhead, Redhill, Stoke Newington and Islington; an actress (’16 Gobs’ Kings Head Theatre); producer (‘Dirty Little Secrets’ Landor Theatre); Company Manager (Whoopee Productions), Agent (2020 Casting for 'The Bourne Ultimatum', 'Atonement' & The Whoopee Agency representing circus and variety performers) and a nanny! Her favourite job was as company manager for ‘Showzam’ at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom – an awe inspiring place. All these 'former lives' have been excellent training in becoming a Stagecoach principal. Jayne is proud to say that Stagecoach Stanmore alumni are both in the performing world and in other fields such as medicine and law; because the skills we teach are important skills for life.
