Stagecoach Southwell

Welcome to Stagecoach Southwell. This year we are celebrating our 25 anniversary!! During that time we have continued to provide the highest quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4-18yrs. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through Singing, Acting and Dance classes in Southwell, stretching young imaginations and building confidence to help our students find their Creative Courage for Life. Michelle has been part of Stagecoach both as a teacher and a Principal since 1999 working with children of all ages. She has provided out students with lots of amazing opportunities to perform over the years at some wonderful events including: performing with Andy Abraham on his tour, at the Saracens/Harlequin and Saracens/Bristol Bears Rugby Matches, at many local festivals, lots of Stagecoach events across the country at lots of theatres including at Her Majesty's Theatre and The Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End of London. In addition to this our students have taken part in the Pre-Parade at Disneyland Paris, and been involved in numerous charity events.

25 Year Anniversary!!

This year marks 25 years since we first opened our doors at Stagecoach Southwell. Many of our students have gone on to work professionally both in the West End and all around the world.

West End Performances

Over the years we have given our students the opportunity to perform in London at both His Majesty's Theatre (Formerly Her Majesty's Theatre) and The Shaftesbury Theatre. We are always so proud of all our amazing students and we love to give them the chance to shine on a West End Stage as often as we can, as well as on many other stages too.

Disneyland Paris

We took 50 of our students and their families to Disneyland Paris. It was magical, the students took part in Disney Workshops, met the characters, performed outside the Castle, rode the rides and the most amazing part was when they performed in the Pre-Parade. Our Principal was honoured to lead the parade and carry the Stagecoach Banner!

Early Stages

Here are some of our some of our lovely Early Stages Students. Our Early Stages have lots of fun in their sessions that run for 90 minutes alongside our Main School classes. We don't just teach them the skills in singing, dancing and acting, they also become more confident, more sociable and learn skills for life.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)
