Meet the team
Meet our Principal
Laura is a trained actress with an MA in Music Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. A former Stagecoach student and accredited Vocal Balance teacher, she has coached students and professionals at institutions such as Mountview and Pendleton, as well as working for Disney Theatricals. She is passionate about building confidence through the arts and cannot wait to welcome you to Stagecoach Southport!

Christy Bellis
Drama Teacher | Manager
Christy trained at Trinity Laban, graduating with a First in Musical Theatre. She has performed across the UK and overseas, and is also a professional singer-songwriter. A Stagecoach alumni, Christy has now taught there for 8 years, inspiring students just as she was inspired.

Sam Killick
Early Stages Teacher
Sam has 25+ years experience in performing arts, training at Preston Dance College where she qualified as an ISTD teacher. She has performed worldwide in musical theatre and pantomime. Sam now teaches, choreographs and directs across the North West, inspiring students into professional careers.

Ebony Hardy
Dance Teacher
Ebony is a passionate dancer and performer. Winner of the IDTA Bill Tasker Award, performing on the Main Stage at Move It and gaining top marks in her IDTA Teaching Exams. She loves inspiring students to build confidence, express creativity and discover joy through dance!

Tom Loughlin
Singing Teacher
Tom is a classically trained singer, studying at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, graduating with Honours. He has gone on to perform professionally with Opera North and The Bergen Festival Chorus with Norwegian Opera. More recently, Tom has appeared in Willy Russell’s ‘Our Day Out’ & ‘The Story of Ireland Musical.’ As well as working professionally as a vocalist, Tom teaches Music & Performing Arts at Maricourt Catholic High School.
