Principal Jennifer has 20 years experience as Principal of Stagecoach Solihull, providing drama classes, dance classes and singing classes.

Solihull Stagecoach opened in 1997 and many of our students have gone on to achieve great opportunities in TV, film and professional touring productions such as Les Mis, Matilda, Scrooge, Evita, Mary Poppins, Beauty and The Beast, Never Forget, Doctor Dolittle, The Lion King, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Whistle Down The Wind, Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar and Aida, and many more shows at the  Birmingham Hippodrome, Alexandra Theatres and the RSC.

Many students have gone on to study at Mountview, Arts Ed, LIPA, GSA, Birmingham School of Acting, LSMT and many have taken University places studying Drama, Dance, Singing and are now qualified teachers .

Ex students are performing in many West End Shows such as Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia, Sister Act,High School Musical, Mathew Bourne's Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty, Matilda and The Book of Mormon.

We pride ourselves on offering a safe environment where children can receive quality training in the performing arts. We welcome children with no previous experience and all we ask is that they are enthusiastic and keen to learn.

Students participate in all three performing arts disciplines: drama classes, dance classes and singing classes - helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and fun.

Providing performance opportunities twice a year within the school, we also cater for those who just love to perform via our own Performance Dance Troupe and Choir.

Stagecoach Festival 2017

Stagecoach Solihull are celebrating 20 years in April 17 . A fantastic "Festival" with wonderful performances from all students including West End ex student guest appearances , Gospel choir, Jazz bands, and much much more. A superb day of entertainment and celebrations ! Its not too late to join in all the celebrations !

Beauty and the Beast

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our show for the Autumn term 2017. With permission from Disney , we are thrilled to be performing "Beauty and the Beast " This wonderful tale will be performed by our Main Students who will make this a show not to be missed . With lots of opportunities for everyone with this big cast !

WEST END PERFORMANCE

Another wonderful opportunity for Stagecoach Solihull students. Shaftesbury Theatre in the heart of the West End Stage is a wonderful opportunity for 18 students from our school.

LAMDA / LCM

At Stagecoach Solihull we also offer individual LAMDA Acting examinations and London College of Music Singing lessons. A wonderful opportunity to develop further tuition .

Weekly Classes

Mini Stages (for ages 2-4 yrs)

Mini Stages
Stagecoach Mini Stages (for 2 -4 year olds) 45 Minute Classes are a fun and exciting way for you and your child to actively experience the performing arts in a comfortable, relaxed and safe environment.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

We understand that with the increasing demands on parents, juggling the pressures of work and family life, time is at an essence. Therefore Stagecoach Parties provide a way to remove the stress from what should be a day of celebration for everyone and allow you to sit back, relax and let us do all the work! Whether they want to be fairies, pirates or detectives, there is a Stagecoach Party for everyone!

Meet The Teachers

Principal - Jennifer Pando - A.I.D.T.A Blt,Th,MJ,T

Jennifer has been the principal of Stagecoach Solihull for 20 years. Jennifer is a dance teacher and choreographer and is a member of the I.D.T.A. Association. Teaching children for more than 30 years , she believes whilst at Stagecoach important life skills and confidence can be built. It is her greatest joy that all students grow as individuals. For 20 years, Jennifer taught in her own dance school, producing large shows and participating in numerous examinations. Jennifer has appeared in professional shows and pantomimes, many at the Birmingham Hippodrome and Alexandra Theatres.
 
Jennifer has studied all areas of performing arts for 2 years where she obtained, amongst other certificates, her fencing certificate!
 
Jennifer believes underconfident students blossom and flourish whilst at Stagecoach, and this is her greatest joy.
