Stagecoach Sheffield

A very warm welcome from Stagecoach Sheffield. For over 25 years we have been providing quality training in the performing arts for students aged 4-18 years. Our venue offers a safe and secure environment for the students to learn and excel.  We are a happy and thriving school and our high expectations help us to achieve fantastic results whilst at the same time having fun.

At Stagecoach Sheffield we believe in offering as many opportunities as possible. Our students have formed the choir for the professional touring production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, they have also appeared in the professional touring productions of Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and Shrek. They have performed numerous times at the iconic Her Majesty's Theatre and The Shaftesbury Theatre, London. We have also proudly performed at Disneyland Paris. Stagecoach, through its agent, also gives students opportunities to appear in film and television. On a regular basis the students present demonstrations and shows for their family and friends. As well as the performance exposure we also offer LAMDA examinations.

Stagecoach Sheffield are proud to have an extremely strong team of teachers offering a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through the disciplines of singing, dance and drama.

Meet The Team

Principal - Debbie Whyte

Debbie first appeared on the professional stage at the tender age of 8, she went on to train in musical theatre at the Arts Educational London Schools (ArtsEd) and enjoyed a career that spanned over 30 years working in London, touring the UK and worldwide and loving every minute of her time in the industry.

Debbie had the greatest joy of her life when her beautiful baby boy came along in June 2017.

Stagecoach gives her the opportunity to balance life at home alongside being able to pass on her knowledge and experience to the next generation. The best thing about her job is being able to watch the students grow in confidence and flourish as performers. Debbie believes in giving students as many performance opportunities as possible, although her main aim is to provide a good, solid training nurturing abilities within the arts but most importantly developing life skills.
