Stagecoach Rotherham

We provide part time drama classes on Saturday's in Rotherham where children learn how to sing, act, dance and perform.

Pat Davison has been Stagecoach Principal for over 13 years, and runs a caring school which aims to help each child develop their confidence and performance abilities, and give them the best possible CV should they wish to study any aspect of the performing arts in Higher Education.

Past students have studied drama at London Theatre Schools and performed at the NIA in Birmingham in a gala production of 'Cats', at West Yorkshire Playhouse, at EuroDisney and at the Cast in Doncaster.

The School regularly enters students for Lamda and Trinity exams and has an excellent track record of Exam success.

Sheffield City Hall

On March 25th, 2018 Stagecoach Doncaster will be joining a handful of other local Stagecoach Schools to put on a spectacular performance at the Sheffield City Hall. The Students will be performing alongside ITV's Superstar, Finalist Jon Moses. This performance is part of the events to happen this year as we celebrate Stagecoach's 30th Birthday.

TRINITY EXAMS

At the end of the Autumn 2017 term our students will be entered for the Trinity Group Musical Theatre Exams. Each group will perform a piece for the examiner which will be graded. The children welcome the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and receive independent recognition for their achievements.

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. Pat originally trained as a teacher at Westminster College, Oxford. From a very young age she has acted in amateur groups. Pat taught secondary maths before having her family, and then retrained and taught nursery and Key Stage 1 children.
