A welcoming word from our Principal Lucinda Hart

Welcome to Stagecoach Romford, where we provide quality part-time training in the performing arts for all children aged 4-19yrs. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes, stretching young imaginations and helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and fun!

We are open every weekend during term times and also during the summer school holidays for our annual ' Summer Holiday Workshops'  -  come and join in the Stagecoach fun!

Lucinda has over 14 years experience as Principal of Stagecoach Romford, providing drama classes, dance classes and singing classes. Lucinda founded her own dance company, 'Raw Energy International' and has directed many UK and international events. Lucinda has managed various West End Theatres and continues to produce professional dance and cabaret shows, as well as running a successful Stagecoach school. She is proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.

Celebrating 15 Years

We have not only a fabulous Summer Term lined up but an incredible year ahead, as we celebrate 15 Years of Stagecoach Romford, which Principal Lucinda opened in 2003. We're so delighted that you will all be a part of this exciting year and the legacy of the School!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principal - Lucinda Hart

Lucinda started ballet classes at the age of 4 years in Canada and went on to  train as a professional dancer  at Dance Theatre Academy, London.
Lucinda has since worked for many commercial choreographers and directors, including Bill Luther, Hi Ching, Arlene Phillips and Paul Henry. She performed extensively throughout Europe, America and North Africa for over 15 years.
Lucinda also founded her own touring dance company, 'Raw Energy International' with residencies in Italy and Morocco, which included performances for the Moroccan Royal Family. Lucinda continues to produce professional productions  in London venues and abroad.
Lucinda has managed several West End Ambassador Theatre Group  theatres, including The Fortune, Piccadilly and Wyndhams, featuring when Madonna performed there in 2003 for 6 weeks.
Lucinda opened Stagecoach Romford in 2003 with just 7 students and is delighted to be celebrating the School's 15th successful year in 2018!
