Stagecoach Richmond

Stagecoach Richmond has been established for more than twenty years, and continues to uphold its excellent reputation as a pioneering performing arts school for local children. For the past nineteen years, Stagecoach Richmond has developed in even more innovative directions under the leadership of its Principal, Jo van der Westhuysen.

We are passionate and dedicated to achieving the highest possible standards in a fun and exciting environment.  Our priority is to develop the self-confidence of every one of our growing students by allowing them to express themselves in new and imaginative ways. This experience gives the students invaluable life skills, fantastic foundations for future learning, and wonderful new reaches of creative expression. Our aim is to give our students creative courage for life.

We offer Performing Arts Exams

Your child is in safe hands. All of our Team are Enhanced DBS checked.

Did you know that Stagecoach Theatre Arts Richmond offers students the chance to take LAMDA exams? Students work with our specialist coach, Ollie Slee, to prepare their pieces and then perform them in front of an examiner. These exams are a fantastic way to improve children's confidence as well as expanding their skill set.

We are so proud of the many fantastic comments in our annual school review during our rehearsals: "Strong team of committed and talented teaching staff who have much professional industry experience This is already a large and successful Stagecoach school with high levels of teaching and progress." There were plenty more but this says it all!!

Our Performance Group are currently working very hard outside their regular Stagecoach hours, in preparation for their performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre. What an exciting opportunity for our talented students to perform in one of London's most prestigious west end theatres!
