We provide fun, inspiring performing arts classes for children and young people aged 4–18, helping every student grow in confidence, develop new skills and discover their creativity through singing, dancing and acting.
Our experienced and passionate teaching team creates a safe, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to express themselves, make new friends and enjoy performing at their own pace. Whether your child dreams of being on stage, wants to build their self-esteem or is simply looking for a fun and creative activity, there is a place for them at Stagecoach Reading West.
Alongside our weekly classes, students can enjoy exciting shows, performance opportunities and holiday workshops throughout the year, all designed to help them develop Creative Courage for Life®.

TWO-WEEK-TRIAL 2025

The best way to try Stagecoach is by attending our Two-Week-Trial. Your child can experience the magical world of Stagecoach for two consecutive weeks, meet the team, meet new friends and enjoy our unique Drama, Singing and Dance classes before deciding whether to continue. We are sure they will love it but its great to be able to try first!

LAMDA

We are delighted to be able to offer LAMDA at Stagecoach Reading West. LAMDA exams are so valuable and help in so many areas. Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages

Our 90-minute Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, giving young performers the chance to learn key skills in each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting each week. These fun and engaging sessions build skills and confidence, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.
 

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Our 3-hour weekly Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

 

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principal - Jessica Rampling

Jess is delighted to be the Principal of Stagecoach Reading West, bringing with her a lifelong passion for the performing arts and extensive experience as a professional performer, teacher and business owner.
Jess trained at the highly acclaimed Millennium Performing Arts before enjoying an eight-year professional career across theatre, live entertainment and cruise productions. Her credits include leading roles such as Sandy in Grease and Eva PerĂ³n in EVITA, as well as working as Swing and understudy for Velma and Roxie in Chicago. She has also performed at the London Cabaret Club, worked as a Dance Captain and appeared in several productions at Lighthouse Poole, playing roles including Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid and Alice in Dick Whittington.
Her career has also taken her internationally, working as a lead vocalist for AIDA Cruises and as a vocalist and recording artist for Carnival Cruise Line.
Jess began her Stagecoach journey in 2010 and has since taught across all three disciplines of singing, dancing and acting. 2024 she launched Stagecoach Reading Burghfield Common, where she has produced exciting shows, created vocal recordings and developed choirs and performance troupes that have performed throughout the local community.
Alongside her performing arts work, Jess is a qualified Pilates instructor and owns her own Pilates studio, teaching both mat and reformer classes. Her experience in performance, movement and wellbeing shapes her supportive and encouraging approach to teaching and leadership.
Jess is incredibly excited to lead Stagecoach Reading West and build on the wonderful community already in place. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every student feels valued, develops their confidence and is given exciting opportunities to grow as both a performer and an individual.
Above all, Jess wants every student to feel supported and inspired as they develop their Creative Courage for Life®.
