Welcome to Stagecoach Preston. I’m Kate, the school’s Principal.  At Stagecoach Preston we introduce children, aged 4- 18 years, to quality part-time training in the performing arts; singing, drama and dance! Our aim is to nurture and develop our students potential and talent, stretching young imaginations and building confidence. Stagecoach Preston also has sister schools in Chorley and Oldham.
We are open every weekend during term time, come join the fun!

We offer Performing Arts Exams

Your child is in safe hands. All of our Team are Enhanced DBS checked.

We cannot wait to be back at Stagecoach for our Spring term, welcoming our new and existing students. Consistency, belonging, social interaction, physical movement, structure, freedom and expression are what our young people NEED right now and we’re 100% sure we can offer all the above to our students every week at Stagecoach!

Our Further Stages class made their west end debut on 21st November 2021. Our age 15 – 18 year old students performed a medley from the musical ‘Jeckyll and Hyde’ at The Shaftesbury Theatre. It was the BEST!!

Our Performance Troupe took to the stage at the Blackpool Grand Theatre on 28th November 2021. It was magical being back on such a wonderful stage, performing extracts from 'Saturday Night Fever’.

We had the best evenings with our main school students performing at our Award Evenings in December 2021. Every child received an award and we celebrated our AMAZING year at Stagecoach!

Did you know that Stagecoach PRESTON offers students the chance to take LAMDA exams? Students work with our coaches to prepare their pieces and then perform in front of an examiner. These exams are a fantastic way to improve children's' confidence as well as expanding their skill set. If you would like more information, please call Kate!

It's more than just singing, dance & drama, we help students develop the creative courage to unlock their potential, to stand up & be heard, to work well with other students, and to embrace new ideas and possibilities. As they put their new skills into practice, students become more self-assured, expressive, sociable & imaginative.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
