Our reviewer also said..."Friendly, well focused professional ethos, excellent management, good behaviours for learning" - We're absolutely thrilled!

Performance Success!

In March 2022, our students performed The Wizard of Oz! The response we had was incredible and the students and teaching team worked to the bone to create a wonderful, memorable performance. Which show shall we do next?

Dance To The Music Tour

Our students were dancers for Strictly’s Kristina Rihanoff and X Factor’s Jake Quickenden’s new tour - Dance to the Music at The Weston Playhouse on Wednesday 12th February 2020.

We are delighted to announce that Stagecoach Portishead are Guinness World Record Breakers! Students performed Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR on the 1st July 2018 with other schools in the network and we now hold the record for the most simultaneous performances! We're so proud of our students and teachers for pulling off a cracking show.

Madagascar/Les Mis Class!

We were treated to a West End workshop by performer, Jo Parsons, last term. Jo taught material from two hit shows he's starred in, Madagascar The Musical (UK Tour) and Les Miserables (West End).

We performed at the iconic Bristol Hippodrome in March 2018 to celebrate our 30th anniversary! The students received a roar of applause from over 1,000 audience members and it was a great success. Students also received a 'break a leg' message from ex-student, Tuppence Middleton (Downton Abbey Film, War and Peace, The Imitation Game & Dickensian).

Parent Testimonial

"The teachers are fantastic, sharing their knowledge and supporting the children as they learn to develop and refine their own skills. They have had so many opportunities through Stagecoach that they just wouldn't have had anywhere else. Both children love attending Stagecoach and can't imagine not going"

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
