Stagecoach Pontypridd & The Valleys

Stagecoach Pontypridd Theatre Arts School specialise  in acting, singing, dancing and drama lessons for children 4-18 years. We run jazz dance classes, hip-hop classes, pop dance classes, street dance classes whilst working on technique, strength and performance skills. We aim for strong physicality in all dance disciplines as well as an equal balance between the three disciplines of singing, dance, acting and drama. Our drama classes involve many skills and confidence building techniques through improvisation and devising, we also put an importance on looking at texts in a fun but educational way. In our singing lessons our students learn a wide variety of songs in solo, two-part and three-part harmony, they learn how to blend their voices in a group and develop strength and volume for solos. We provide useful advice on auditioning for performing arts establishments, many of our talented teachers have trained in London or teach within these establishments.

Pupils aged 7 - 16 from Stagecoach Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd produced this excellent Lion King Medley. This fantastic Musical Theatre piece was another brilliant opportunity available at our schools.
This particular piece was created for a special performance at St David's Hall Cardiff this year.
