Stagecoach Peterborough

Come and join us for a brand new term at Stagecoach Peterborough.

Stagecoach Peterborough has provided a drama academy, dance school and singing classes all under one performing arts roof for many years. Every student has the opportunity to perform at the end of each term, in each of the performing arts disciplines.

Sessions are led by an incredible team of teachers and it all happens in a supportive and welcoming working atmosphere. The Thomas Deacon Academy has incredible facilities for performing arts allowing young people to develop skills in singing, dancing and acting. it is also important to remember that Stagecoach Peterborough offers skills for life such as confidence and creativity. We look to nurture natural ability and individually work with young people to stretch their talents and personal capabilities.

On Saturday 23rd March, Stagecoach Peterborough were invited to perform with Collabro at the Cressett Theatre in Peterborough. It was an amazing event and much fun was had by all. We felt very privileged to be involved and were grateful of the help and guidance of the four amazing Britain's Got Talent winners.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Evie Rood

My Stagecoach journey began as a Stagecoach mum, my son and daughter attended for many years and as a family, we cherished the whole experience.

It inspired me to take the helm of a similar franchise in the late 90's and I steadily built a music workshop business for the under 5's. This was built on a similar concept to Stagecoach, albeit for younger children; empowering their creative courage and encouraging their cognitive skills.

My Son and Daughter-in-law are now both Stagecoach proprietors themselves, continuing the families journey with Stagecoach in the years to come.

I am delighted to be steering the ship of Stagecoach Peterborough and know I will feel the same pride watching your children embark on the same journey that my own have, many years ago. This proves to me that Stagecoach is sustainable and the model truly dose work-having instilled confidence and creativity to over a million young people.

I am very excited about the future of the school and have a talented, dedicated team of teachers to complete our incredible team.
