Stagecoach Perth

Stagecoach Perth has been providing quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting for over 10 years. As part of one of the longest running and most successful children's performing arts schools network in the world Stagecoach Perth is more than just a stage school, theatre school or drama school.

We are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes.

Meet The Team

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Fraser McGlynn - PHD MA Hons MSC

Fraser is very well known in the local Musical Theatre World having played various principal parts around Dundee, Fife and Angus - his favourites being 'Jesus' in JC Superstar, Billy in Anything Goes and 'The Devil' in Witches of Eastwick. More recently he has been heavily involved in the production side of shows, directing and mainly concentrating on the Musical Direction of Shows including Whistle down the Wind, Footloose, Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose and Oklahoma. 
He has a teaching background working in schools and at Aberdeen University but has given up his full time job to concentrate on running his Stagecoach Schools in Perth and Aberdeen and The Song Shop which he runs in Montrose with his wife.
