Meet The Team

Principal - Lauren Casey

Lauren trained at BIMM and has a BA Hons degree in Professional Musicianship with Vocals. Training at BIMM, gave Lauren a real insight of the expectation in the music industry. She trained with many experts and this gave her the courage to travel extensively internationally as a professional musician. She has great knowledge and experience of what it takes to be a full time performer.

As a band leader, Lauren became her own agent and was successful in gaining work from Carnival Corporation and PLC, P&O Cruises and prestigious Hotel Contracts in Asia. Working at sea made Lauren very ambitious, organised and hard working.

As a child, Lauren was encouraged to perform and given opportunities to excel at Stagecoach, building on her confidence and ‘Creative Courage For Life’. She has used these qualities as a student, teacher, manager and now Principal combining performance and education.

Lauren is a highly experienced music teacher who has taught all ages in both State and Independent schools. She has also been trained in ABRSM, LAMDA and RAD. Lauren is a warm, charismatic and caring person who wants to make everyone at her school feel welcome.

As a Principal, Lauren understands that every child is on a different journey. Engaging and encouraging your children to grow in confidence and individuality are essential life skills. Lauren is looking forward to seeing the school continue to grow and cannot wait for the exciting events and opportunities to come.
