Stagecoach Otford

We provide high quality part-time training in the Performing Arts for children aged 4 - 18 years. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes for children - stretching young imaginations, building confidence and life skills whilst also having fun through all the three disciplines.
 
Stagecoach Otford covers a lot of the towns surrounding Otford in the Sevenoaks district. This includes; New Ash Green, Brands Hatch, Riverhead, West Kingsdown,Wrotham, Eynsford and Kemsing.

At Stagecoach Otford we are open every week during school term time with holiday workshops during the school holidays. We also offer parties for 4-10 year olds.

Summer Term

YAY! We are delighted that all being well, we will be able to start our Summer Term as planned on Sunday 25th April 2021 and will run through to Sunday 11th July! We CAN'T WAIT to get up and running!We anticipate this term to be very busy so early booking is essential. For more information on our term and our two week trials, please email Carrie.

LAMDA exams

We are delighted to now to be able to offer LAMDA exams. We have private centre at our sister school in Tunbridge Wells and our exam this year will take place on Saturday 24th July. LAMDA sessions are one to one sessions which take place before the Main school classes on a Sunday. Please ask Carrie for more info!

Superheroes Workshop

We are delighted to be running our very popular SUMMER WORKSHOPS this year from 26th -30th July. Our workshops are open to all students and non Stagecoach students and our theme this year for 4-6 years old is SUPERHEROES and will run 9.30am-12.3pm each day. Our summer workshops are FUN and get very busy so early booking is essential!

SUMMER OF ROCK!

Our Summer Workshop for children aged 6 years upwards will take place from 26th. July -30th July and this year our theme is SUMMER OF ROCK! Ending with a presentation to parents, it is one of our favourite weeks of the year! Our workshops get very busy so hurry, book today!

Mini Stages (for ages 2-4 yrs)

Mini Stages
Stagecoach Mini Stages (for 2 -4 year olds) 45 Minute Classes are a fun and exciting way for you and your child to actively experience the performing arts in a comfortable, relaxed and safe environment.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Therefore Stagecoach Parties provide a way to remove the stress from what should be a day of celebration for everyone and allow you to sit back, relax and let us do all the work! Whether they want to be fairies, pirates or detectives, there is a Stagecoach Party for everyone!

Meet The Team

Principal - Carrie Harrison-Iddon - BA Acting

Carrie trained as a professional actress at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. After graduating she began her acting career in London where she gained parts in film, theatre and television. In 2004 she began teaching drama at Stagecoach Haywards Heath and loved it! Ever since then she developed a passion for teaching and slowly moved from acting into teaching drama full-time. Within her teaching jobs she has been able to develop her directing skills and has directed various shows over the years such as Grease, Bugsy Malone, My Mother Said I Never Should, Godspell and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Grimm Tales and Hansel and Gretel to name a few! Carrie has been the Principal now for four years and loves all the challenges and fun that comes from running the Tunbridge Wells school. She continues to feel very proud of all the students and feels lucky that we have such an enthusiastic, talented and hardworking bunch of students! Since taking over Tunbridge Wells, the school has gone from strength to strength.
