Stagecoach Northwood

At Stagecoach Northwood, we are dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality teaching in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children of all abilities feel valued, supported, and encouraged to flourish.

Our experienced and passionate team is committed to helping every student grow in confidence, creativity, and performance skills, and we are proud to see this reflected in their progress both on and off the stage. Along the way, children develop lasting friendships, discover new talents, and enjoy being part of a welcoming and inclusive community.

If you would like to visit us, find out more about our classes, or have any questions, we would be delighted to hear from you. Better still, ask our students—they'll tell you just how much they enjoy their time at Stagecoach and how much their confidence has grown.

We also offer LAMDA lessons and exams in Acting, Verse and Prose and Musical Theatre in addition to Stagecoach classes.

We offer Performing Arts Exams

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages

Our 90-minute Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, giving young performers the chance to learn key skills in each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting each week. These fun and engaging sessions build skills and confidence, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Our 3-hour weekly Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Louisa White

As Principal of Stagecoach Northwood, Louisa feels incredibly privileged to lead such an inspiring and dedicated team, continuing to nurture creativity, confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of the performing arts in every student. Louisa has over 30 years of experience teaching and directing performing arts and has been part of the Stagecoach family for 15 years. Before starting her family, she was Deputy Head of a primary school and a Leading Literacy Teacher for Hertfordshire. She also worked as part of a research team at the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE), where she focused on raising writing standards through drama and film.

Alongside her teaching, Louisa has directed a wide range of amateur productions, including The Wizard of Oz, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and The Addams Family. She has also delivered drama, singing, and dance workshops in primary schools, inspiring children of all ages through her passion for the performing arts.

Louisa joined Stagecoach Northwood as a Drama Teacher in 2014, and her two daughters have also enjoyed being part of the Stagecoach community. Now a mother of three, she has seen first-hand the positive impact Stagecoach has on young people, helping them develop confidence, self-esteem, creativity, and performance skills that support them both on stage and in everyday life.
