Stagecoach North Tyneside

The warmest of welcomes to Stagecoach North Tyneside! It’s my absolute pleasure to bring the opportunity of a creative education to 4-18 years olds in the area. Creativity is crucial for a child’s development; what better way to practice it than through singing, acting and dancing! Students at Stagecoach North Tyneside will take part in weekly workshops with outstanding specialised singing, acting and dance teachers. In addition to their creative, emotional and social development, students will take part in exciting performances and they’re sure to have lots of fun along the way. Stagecoach North Tyneside is an inclusive, safe environment for children and we’re proud to adopt the Stagecoach mantra: providing children with Creative Courage for Life!

Further Stages (14+)

Our new Further Stages classes are currently open to new students. Through in-depth training and master classes, students are encouraged to hone their performance skills, working as a small theatre company. They are also prepared for any auditions to theatre and vocational drama schools.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Joshua Bradley - BA (hons) & Post-graduate in Education

Joshua has a strong belief that a creative education is imperative to a child’s educational and social development as well as their emotional, physical and mental health. He has seen the value which performing arts can have at first hand and this drives his ambition to ensure that children have the opportunity to develop skills away from the confines of the classroom.
Joshua graduated from the University of Sunderland with a degree in Drama followed shortly after by a post-graduate degree in education. Following this, he spent two years at a college on the outskirts of London as course leader for Performing Arts Acting. During this time, Joshua produced a variety of shows at venues such as the underground tunnels of the Vaults Theatre, London and Brighton Fringe Festival. Despite loving the lively theatre scene in London and being a proud Yorkshireman, Joshua returned to settle in his adoptive home, the North-East, again as course leader in a local sixth form. Joshua’s proudest moments revolve around seeing the progression of his students and he is honoured to have been part of countless students’ journeys to University and Drama School.
Following work as a further stages teacher at Stagecoach Washington, Joshua is thrilled to introduce Stagecoach to North Tyneside and he looks forward to seeing the progression of many more students!
