Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages

Our 90-minute Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, giving young performers the chance to learn key skills in each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting each week. These fun and engaging sessions build skills and confidence, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Our 3-hour weekly Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Sara Catlin-Brown

Sara grew up with a love of acting and performing arts, appearing in local amateur theatre productions and BBC performances from a young age. After building a successful 12-year career in the events industry, Sara returned to her creative roots and launched Stagecoach Chiswick with her sister, Sally, in 2000. Together, they went on to establish Stagecoach schools in Surrey, and then across West London in Kensington, Hammersmith, Acton and Ealing Broadway.

Both Sara and Sally’s own children attended Stagecoach and they believe this gave them more confidence throughout their childhood and teenage years.

Today, Stagecoach New Malden continues to thrive under Sara’s leadership, offering an inspiring, nurturing environment for young performers.

Sara is passionate about the powerful impact that performing arts can have in the development of a child’s confidence, creativity and imagination and believes in the potential of every child.

She is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming space where every student can shine.
