Stagecoach Nantwich

Welcome to Stagecoach Nantwich. We provide tuition in dance, drama and singing for children and teenagers aged 4 - 18 years and over the last 12 years have helped thousands of local children reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on offering well organised, fun and stimulating classes delivered by an experienced and highly skilled team of teachers, in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our classes help develop confidence, communication skills and articulation – as well as being educational and fun. Our students have opportunities to perform in local, regional and national theatres, take part in professional tours or take part in films or TV shows.

Our aim is to bring the performing arts in to the lives of all children and show them that anything is possible if you work hard and reach for the stars.

Summer Holiday Workshop

Our Summer Holiday Workshop, “Pirates of the Curry Bean", promises to be another fast paced, fun filled week of singing, dancing and acting. It’s a swashbuckling adventure set on the high seas and is a piratical musical that's sure to shake your booty! Join us from 24th -28th July at the Nantwich Players Theatre.

Opera Boys Performance

Our Performance Company recently gave a fantastic performance when they were invited to perform with Opera Boys at the Crewe Lyceum as part of their UK tour. The students performed a mixture of classical, pop and musical theatre numbers alongside the UK's finest classically trained tenors.

Carmen

Our students did an excellent job recently when we provided the children's choir for the Russian State Ballet & Opera House as part of their UK tour of the world class opera, Carmen! Our choir impressed everyone by singing their musical number in French and this was translated for the audience with digital subtitles.

Jekyll & Hyde Tour

Well done to our Stage 2 student Amiee who performed at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe alongside a whole host of famous faces in the Talking Scarlet production of Jekyll & Hyde. Aimee played the part of a young girl who was attacked by Mr Hyde and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the tour.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Teachers

Principal - Adele Fowell

Adele has been involved in Stagecoach for over 12 years first teaching at the Stone, Stafford and Congleton Stagecoach schools for a number of years before becoming Principal of Stagecoach Nantwich 6 years ago.

Her love for performing arts began when she took her first ballet class at just 3 years old, with her first professional performance following at the age of 7. She then went on to work professionally as a dancer and also performed in many local amateur dramatic and operatic productions.

In 2004 she left her career as a paramedic and returned to the world of performing arts, first completing her teacher training and then joining the Stagecoach network as an Early Stages teacher, whilst also working as a specialist performing arts coach, working with students with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Adele is now dedicated to passing on her passion for the performing arts to a new generation of children, helping them grow as individuals and supporting and guiding them and their parents during their time with her and her  teachers at Stagecoach Nantwich.
