Stagecoach Performing Arts Maidstone East offer singing, dance and drama classes for children ages 4 - 18 years.

We believe that the whole world is a stage and the skills children learn at Stagecoach Maidstone East will help them at school, university and in their future careers. 

We provide children with the opportunity to participate in all three performing arts disciplines - drama, dance and singing - helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and lots of fun.

Two Week Trial

Try Singing, Dancing & Acting Classes. Children and teens are welcome to try our singing, dancing and acting classes during a two week trial – a great way to settle in and discover all that Stagecoach has to offer. A two week trial costs £25 for Early Stages (4-6 year olds) and £50 for Main Stages (6-18 year olds) - enrol below.

Shaftesbury Theatre 2021

We will be performing at The very Prestigious Shaftesbury Theatre this November. Our Troupe students will spend the day in the life of a Musical Theatre Professional, taking part in Tech runs, dress runs and a live performance to finish, in a 1,400 seated Theatre.

Early Stages

This Autumn term our theme is Under the Sea! We'll plunge into the deep sea and discover all it's magic with the most beautiful songs, dances and scenes. We'll explore all the coves and dip our toes into new adventures. Come and join the waves of fun at our Early Stages ocean of dreams.

Main Stages

Out theme this Autumn term is Musicals through The Ages. We will unravel all the classics, the prestigious and the famous starting from the 40's. We'll develop our knowledge on musical history through song and dance. This term we'll introduce some directing too and all that goes on behind the scenes. Let's be all rounders, let's be the very best!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principal - Jeylan Jacob

Jeylan is a professional actress who trained for six years in performing arts. She attended The Brit School, Doreen Bird and Arts Educational School where she gained her Masters degree in Acting.

Since graduating Jeylan has worked mostly in theatre, both contemporary and classical. As well as acting Jeylan has always been passionate about teaching and has spent the last four years sharing her knowledge and skills as a teacher at Stagecoach.

Along side acting and teaching, Jeylan is also a Mum and wife and feels that Stagecoach is the perfect fit for herself and her family. Jeylan is extremely excited about becoming Principal and can not wait to get to know all the children and parents.
