Stagecoach Loughton

Welcome to Stagecoach Loughton! A welcoming performing arts school for 4-18 year olds - getting students Singing, Dancing and Acting their way to confidence, so they can perform on whichever stage they choose to in life.

My goal is to create a school that is inclusive to all: Not just one that can train those wanting a future in the performing arts, but one that can bring children together - reach out and bring the whole community together!

One of my favourite things about Stagecoach is ‘Creative courage for life!’

I believe, with the support of my experienced, professional, creative teaching team; whether it’s through one hour of singing, dancing and acting a week, a workshop in the holidays, or a trip to perform on a professional stage; we can not only give students the ability and technique to perform in the spotlight, but also have them up there owning themselves with confidence. A skill that can transfer into any future!

COVID 19 has made the past year very hard on everyone, and we need to see the children have fun, getting creative and making new friends!

The Power of Stagecoach!

With everything that has been going on in the world, it’s time to really start to think about what is important. Home schooling has meant our young people have missed out on a lot, not just education. The performing arts are a powerful force that should be at the forefront of bringing young people back together in a meaningful and healthy way.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Meet The Team

Principal - Zach Mobley

Zach has had a varied career, both as an actor and in marketing & management. Graduating from The MTA - two times winner of the school of the year award - Zach’s credits include everything from assistant director at the Southwark Playhouse, to performing in New Musical Theatre workshops and concerts at some of the best venues in the west end, pantomimes, theatre in education, performing as a dancer on televised music awards, presenting educational series and commercials. Zach’s performing career, not only gives the knowledge of technique, but also the understanding of how much work & confidence is required to be in ‘show business!’ and how you can use this in other ways. Zach has also managed for some of the biggest retailers in the country, and now runs the marketing and operations for a boutique recruitment firm and runs a Kid's talent agency, at the same time as managing Stagecoach. Zach’s bringing together his experience and passion in Stagecoach Loughton, and looks forward to it every week - as he hopes all the students do too. He is very excited for what the future holds at Stagecoach Loughton!
