Stagecoach Liphook

Welcome to Stagecoach Liphook!
I am very proud to be principal of this energetic and busy school which has been running for 11 years. We welcome pupils through our doors every Friday and Saturday at Liphook Infants School from ages 4 - 19 years, to provide an all round performing arts experience. At Stagecoach Liphook, we pride ourselves on striving for excellence, every child is nurtured, supported and has fun along the way! Pupils can expect to be challenged, increase their confidence and communication skills all whilst making new friends and developing their skills and talents in drama, dance and singing.
Our students are given lots of opportunity to shine in class work, demonstrations, and our annual show, which takes place in a professional theatre environment. We have a Performance Team open to Main School Pupils, giving the chance for pupils to perform in local performances, festivals, the West End and even Disneyland Paris! Alongside our regular training, there is added value in the form of offering LAMDA exams in Acting or Musical Theatre, as well as group Performance Arts Awards, written reports, theatre trips, specialist workshops, professional representation for Theatre, Film and TV work.
Leanne, alongside her fantastic team of teachers, strives to deliver excellence in education, and inspire the students of Stagecoach Liphook - allowing each and every student to flourish not only in class, but in life!

Meet The Team

We are busy working behind the scenes on planning an Easter Workshop for 2018. You can now book your place below. We are pleased to also be offering additional hours before and after the workshops for those parents who have work commitments. We can confirm that our Summer Workshop dates will be Monday 30th July until Friday 3rd August.

A Night at The Oscars

Stagecoach Liphook celebrated the term in style with A Night at The Oscars. Performed and presented by the pupils in a one off magical event which was incredibly well supported by our Stagecoach families and ended with a disco enjoyed by all. What a way to finish the year. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2018!

Godalming Music Festival

In January 2018 a group of our Stage 3 pupils will start rehearsals for the Annual Godalming Music Festival. We enter this wonderful festival bi-annually and in 2016 we were honoured to have been the winners of the Ivy Sharp Trophy for achieving the overall highest mark in the Festival in the Musical Theatre category.

Connections 2018

Our Furthers Stages pupils are gearing up to perform in the National Theatre Connections project which will see them perform a newly commissioned play "Dungeness" by Chris Thompson at both Alton College and Theatre Royal Bath in March. This has been a wonderful opportunity for the group to take ownership over theatre making from the grass roots up.

Students are now finalising their LAMDA exam work for their exam on Sunday 21st January. We know that they will be working hard over the holidays and we wish them the very best in January.Keep up the good work! We offer LAMDA exams twice a year, as well as PAA biannually and we strongly support our pupils if they so wish to take them.

New School Opening

We are very excited to announce that we will be opening up a brand-new school on a Friday in the Summer Term. We will be offering both an Early Stages class from 4.30-6.00pm and a Main Stages class from 5.00-8.00pm. Please contact us for further details.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
