Stagecoach Leighton Buzzard

Welcome to Stagecoach Leighton Buzzard, which has been providing quality part-time performing arts training since September 2002.

Our weekly classes on Saturday mornings are taught by a wonderful team of dedicated, professional teachers, many with their own experience of performing, who are passionate about delivering engaging and enjoyable singing, acting and dance classes for children and young people of Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas aged 4 to 18. We have a fantastic balance between education and fun, and have been lucky enough to offer our students plenty of performing opportunities, both within the school, and further afield in theatres such as Her Majesty’s in London, the Birmingham NEC and NIA, The Grove in Dunstable and Milton Keynes Theatre.

For a rewarding activity in a friendly environment where life skills such as confidence, creativity and communication flourish, look no further! Parents are invited to enrol their children in one of our Saturday morning theatre arts classes at Cedars Upper School.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Stagecoach family!

New Early Stages Class

We will be opening a further earlies class in summer term which will run from 9:15am – 10:45am for children aged 4-6. Come along for a two week trial and watch your little one become more self-assured, expressive & confident.

The votes are in!

The Main School students have voted and we are thrilled to announce they have chosen High School Musical as their Summer Term show! Auditions are our skills term focus and these skills will be put into practise auditioning for the show!

A Night at the Opera

Congratulations to all the students who performed in Nabucco at the Grove Theatre in December. It’s always such fun to perform in an Ellen Kent production. We got some great shots which have been posted on our Facebook page.

Performance Opportunity

Each year we get to perform at a prestigious theatre venue & for 2017 it's The Waterside theatre in Aylesbury. We are in the planning process for this year's piece and are hoping to wow the audience even more than we did last year at The High Wycombe Swan!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Principal - Tracey Chatterley

Tracey is a passionate believer in the benefits Stagecoach training provides children and is one of our biggest advocates for Creative Courage for Life. Tracey is a performer herself and loves being on stage, she regularly works on TV and films, some of which are  Eastenders, Holby City, Endeavor and Skyfall but her biggest love is Live Theatre!

She has very much enjoyed her first year getting to know the students and their families and is enjoying watching each child blossom and shine with confidence.
