Packed audiences again

It was amazing to see huge support for our Main Stages end of term performances to end our Spring Term. Every student stepped up to wow the audiences and produce a first class show putting huge smiles on faces. We are so proud of them and can't wait for the next one.

Fantastic Annual Review

In March we were visited by our Trinity College Inspectors who spent the morning with us observing our classes, speaking to the teachers and students. We are delighted to report that we exceeded all expectations in singing, dancing and acting and the inspectors praised the friendly, supportive and welcoming ethos of the school.

Emmerdale to Roundhay

We were delighted to welcome Sammy Winward to Stagecoach Roundhay to work with our Main Stages students. Sammy inspired our students by delivering acting for camera workshops and explaining all about her life on Emmerdale plus gave us hints and tips about life as a professional actor and shared a few soap secrets! What a fantastic week!

WORLD RECORD BREAKERS!

We did it! In July Stagecoach broke the Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous performance of a musical by performing Disney's Beauty and the Beast - and Stagecoach Roundhay were part of it! We are WORLD RECORD HOLDERS! An amazing performance, an amazing achievement! Huge congratulations to all involved.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)
