Stagecoach in Roundhay has been providing quality part-time training in singing, dancing and acting here in Leeds since 1996. As part of the the UK's largest network of part time performing arts schools, Stagecoach Leeds Roundhay is more than just a stage school, theatre school or drama school. We are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes. Stagecoach Leeds Roundhay is perfect if you are looking for dance classes, singing lessons or acting classes for young people as we have it all and under one roof!

We do Wednesdays as well!

Due to popular demand we now run an Early Stages class (4-6yrs) on a Wednesday afternoon. The class runs from 4pm-5.30pm at Parochial Hall on Fitzroy Drive in Roundhay. Childcare Vouchers

As we are Ofsted registered, you can use Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare Vouchers to pay for Stagecoach classes here in Roundhay. Remember fees can always be spread across the term if required.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - James Ford - BA (Hons) QTS

James has been with Stagecoach across Yorkshire for the last 13 years having previously taught singing in a number of Stagecoach schools before becoming Principal here in Roundhay. He has a degree in music and when he is not at Stagecoach he is a Primary School Teacher, so knows exactly how to encourage, motivate and get the best out of our students. James enjoys seeing children of all ages and abilities progress, develop, perform and have lots of fun each and every week at Stagecoach.
