Stagecoach Leatherhead

A very warm welcome to Stagecoach Leatherhead. For over 25 years, we have been providing quality part-time training in singing, dance and drama for children aged 4-18yrs, in the heart of Leatherhead. Our wonderful venue at Leatherhead Trinity School and Children's centre provides a safe and secure environment for our children to learn. We are a happy and thriving school, and our high expectations of students help us to achieve fantastic results whilst at the same time having fun.
Stagecoach Leatherhead are proud to offer a full and rounded education, teaching life skills to build confidence and stretch imaginations through singing, acting and dance classes. We are now also taking bookings for our hugely popular Summer Workshops - you don't have to be a Stagecoach student to attend. Make friends, build confidence, learn new skills and be part of a fabulous production.

Her Majesty's Theatre

On the 18th June 2017, 18 of our talented students wowed the audience in their tribute to the wonderful musical 'Memphis'. We love to give performance opportunities to our students - and we're appearing again this November!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Meet The Team

Principal - Allison Malone

Allison's Mum always said that she was "a bit of a drama queen", so it was perhaps inevitable that Allison would end up on the stage. She trained for three years at the prestigious Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she won the Performer's prize in her first year and a scholarship to sing with the world renowned baritone and voice coach, David Gwestyn Smith. She then went off on her travels, touring (mainly in Musical Theatre) and generally having the time of her life. She worked for the English Theatre Company in Frankfurt, toured the majority of the U.K over a period of ten years or so ... and then motherhood called.
Allison needed to find a career a bit closer to home. Stagecoach has proved to provide the perfect balance between Allison's love of performing, and the need to be with her two young daughters. Her biggest joy in her work is seeing students flourish and grow in their confidence. She truly believes that aside from performing, being a Stagecoach Principal really is the best job in the world.
