Stagecoach Leatherhead

A very warm welcome from Stagecoach Performing Arts School Leatherhead.  We provide quality training in dance, drama and singing for children aged from 4 – 18 years, in an environment where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential. Whether children come to develop their confidence, make friends or just have fun – or indeed if they want to follow a professional performing arts career – we give them the tools to help them achieve their goal.  We set ourselves high standards, and the students work hard to achieve them, but always with a sense of fun and enjoyment. At both our Leatherhead and Bookham schools, the students take part in full scale, costumed shows and have the opportunity to go on theatre trips, take part in workshops with West End cast members, and have access to a variety of professional casting opportunities for both film and stage.
No audition is required for new students – all they need is enthusiasm, commitment, and a love of performing arts.

Main School Big Show

In November of this year, it's the chance for over 200 of our older students to show their friends and families just what they're made of! Our extravaganza allows every child the chance to shine in a fully costumed show with a band and more lights than Blackpool illuminations! We can't wait!

For our younger performers aged 4-6 years, it's also show time this term. The weekend of the 29th and 30th November is the one to keep free, and there's a Christmas theme this year ...

CONGRATULATIONS to our wonderful students who took part!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Allison Malone

Allison's Mum always said that she was "a bit of a drama queen", so it was perhaps inevitable that Allison would end up on the stage. She trained for three years at the prestigious Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she won the Performer's prize in her first year and a scholarship to sing with the world renowned baritone and voice coach, David Gwestyn Smith. She then went off on her travels, touring (mainly in Musical Theatre) and generally having the time of her life. She worked for the English Theatre Company in Frankfurt, toured the majority of the U.K over a period of ten years or so ... and then motherhood called.

Allison needed to find a career a bit closer to home. Stagecoach has proved to provide the perfect balance between Allison's love of performing, and the need to be with her two young daughters. Her biggest joy in her work is seeing students flourish and grow in their confidence. She truly believes that aside from performing, being a Stagecoach Principal really is the best job in the world.
