Stagecoach Performing Arts Kenilworth offers an inclusive and encouraging environment for students to build up their confidence and skills in the performing arts. Under the supervision of Principal, Shoshana Stokes (also principal of Stagecoach Warwick), the school offers a full and rounded education to students, with a wide range of performance and skill-building opportunities. Stagecoach Kenilworth runs performing arts classes in singing, dance and drama for children aged 4 – 18 years. We are passionate about the benefits the arts can bring to children and young people, giving them the tools to build valuable life-skills and to develop into brave and well-rounded adults. Every student at Stagecoach Kenilworth is a valued and vital member of the ‘team’ and we are incredibly proud of the progress each and every child makes at our school. We offer exclusively for current main school students, LAMDA acting classes. These are to complement our weekly classes at Stagecoach and are aimed at those students who want to take Solo Acting Examinations and gain UCAS points towards University applications (grade 5+). The classes are taught by the marvellous Shaun Aspinall!

Performance Opportunities

Stagecoach Kenilworth are always seeking opportunities for the students to perform! Students have previously performed at Cheltenham town hall, Her Majesty's Theatre in London and The Dell in Stratford Upon Avon, Students have also performed at The RSC and also for the BBC. We are loving the #SUCCESS. We are going to perform in Aylesbury in October

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Shoshana Stokes – Bmus (Hons), MBA, ADPA

Shoshana has worked for Stagecoach in various roles for nearly a decade, firstly as a singing teacher, before moving on to duties as an Assistant Principal and now as Principal of Stagecoach Warwick. She discovered a love of teaching whilst she was studying for her undergraduate degree and has worked in education since her graduation, for a wide range of companies, including Welsh National Opera, the Wales Millennium Centre, Glee Club UK, Armonico Consort and many others. Shoshana is a graduate of both the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David holding a BMus in Music Performance and an MBA in Professional Arts Management. She also holds an Associate Diploma in the Teaching of Performing Arts. Shoshana aims to provide every student at Stagecoach Warwick and Kenilworth with the opportunity to shine and reach their full potential, developing a creativity and courage that students will be able to use throughout their lives.
