Stagecoach Haywards Heath

A very warm welcome to Stagecoach Haywards Heath For nearly 20 years we have been offering quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4-18yrs, covering Dance, Drama and Singing right in the heart of Haywards Heath.

Our students thrive in a buzzing, inspirational environment where creativity is nurtured and technique and style are developed each week. Our fantastic and experienced teaching staff encourage all students to reach their full potential whether they are coming to develop confidence, make friends or have a professional performing arts career in their sights. Every Summer term we provide Lamda tuition and we also invite industry professionals to deliver exciting and dynamic workshops to our schools. We pride ourselves on providing a well balanced introduction to the performing arts industry, with numerous performance opportunities each year combined with structured diverse classes focussing on technique.

We're Back! SUMMER 2021

After the huge success of our Zoom sessions , we are delighted to announce that we can return to venue for our Summer term starting on 23rd/24th April. We cannot wait to welcome you all in person and continue the great work we've started on Zoom. We will continue to adhere to the government guidelines, ensuring they are safe and well looked after.

Summer Workshops 2021

We're SO excited to announce that bookings for our Summer Workshops are now OPEN! Our workshops are very popular and we have limited spaces available so please book early. We'll kickstart the holidays with a week they'll talk about all summer. The fun starts July 26th!

Welcome To Our Team!

We are delighted to welcome 3 new teachers to our team which means we now have 7 teachers and 2 assistants across the two schools. A huge warm welcome to Danny (Dance on a Friday), Tracy (Stage 1 Beginners and Performance Technique, Saturday) & Hannah (Performance Technique, Saturday).

10 Year Anniversary

Well we did it! After 15 months of planning and 2 terms of rehearsals, our 10 year anniversary show in October 2019 was an absolute triumph. It surpassed all my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole event! Thank you so much to everyone involved for helping make this day the most memorable Stagecoach I've had as Principal.

Performance Troupe

As soon as we can we will have our Troupe back to rehearsals. They had worked so hard on our piece "Fame" (no not the leg warmer version! It is, as usual a devised piece!) but sadly never got to perform it as planned at Her Majesty's Theatre in March. We WILL though, when theatre rises up again. I PROMISE.

We recieved fantastic results in 2019 and although this year has taken us all in different directions we hope to get back on track next year & enter students for their LAMDA exams in the summer term 2021. Speak to Jane or Patric & keep an eye on our Facebook & Instagram page for further details and dates.

We are pleased to confirm we are now registered fully with Ofsted and able to accept childcare vouchers towards payments for term fee’s, holiday workshops and two-week trials.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy.
