Welcome to Stagecoach Hastings! We are a happy vibrant school training over 100 students in the three main performing arts disciplines every Saturday. We are very proud to have an excellent independent inspection record across the board in our dance classes, drama classes and singing classes. We pride ourselves on providing top quality performing arts training for children in the area. All Stagecoach theatre school Hastings students have the opportunity to perform in shows, take musical theatre exams and join the agency. We welcome children and young people of all abilities interested in acting, singing and dancing. performing arts training and theatre skills are a great way to build confidence through our acting classes, dance classes and singing classes. Meet The Team



We are delighted to announce that we will be taking part in 'Stagecoach Live at Her Majesty's' in March 2018. We will be sorting out our troupe of performers for this West End showcase in the Autumn Term. Want to join us? We have an exciting year coming up at Stagecoach Hastings ENROL NOW for September.

Early Stages

We have limited places available in our Early Stages class for September! Enrol now for a two week trial. Children can enrol the term they are turning 4 and move on to Stage 1 of the Main School at age 6


Our Summer Workshop for little performers aged 4-7 was a great success! Their performance of 'The Grumpy Leprechaun' at the end of the week was fantastic and we have have lots of feedback from parents saying how much the children enjoyed the experience. Well done everyone who took part!


Our Summer workshop this year was the spectacular broadway musical 'Singing in the Rain'. Our workshop students had the fantastic experience of putting on a full show in one week! That's right - casting, rehearsing, staging and performing all in just five days! It was exhusting but exhilarating and everyone had enormous fun. Well done!


After the success of their performance in the Stagecoach South East Regional Showcase in May. This group of talented students have been asked to perform their fantastic piece entitled 'Musical Dreams' at a special charity gala show on Sunday 3rd December at The Shaftsbury Theatre in London. What an honour!

Weekly Classes

Mini Stages (for ages 2-4 yrs)

Mini Stages
Stagecoach Mini Stages (for 2 -4 year olds) 45 Minute Classes are a fun and exciting way for you and your child to actively experience the performing arts in a comfortable, relaxed and safe environment.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Avril Crawford - ALAM, ATCL, ADPA

Avril has been acting and singing for many years. She has worked all over the UK and appeared in many musicals. She has a teaching Diploma from Trinity College London and is an associate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Avril has written and directed many shows and has her own production company. She has taught Speech and Drama at a number of schools and coached pupils of all ages in drama and singing for auditions and examinations. Avril is also Principal of Stagecoach Theatre School in Folkestone.
