Stagecoach Guildford North

Welcome to Stagecoach Guildford North. Guided by a principal and team of teachers who have all trained and worked as performers, choreographers, teachers and directors. Guildford North Stagecoach Performing Arts offers first class training in drama, dance and singing for young people aged 4 – 18.

Stagecoach Guildford North is home to a team of incredibly passionate and experienced teachers of performing arts for children. We  aim to encourage children to reach their full potential by nurturing them through the arts, whilst offering fantastic opportunities in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Every year the students of Guildford North are given opportunities to perform and develop their skills through workshops, end of term shows, local community events and even yearly visits to Disney. We hope to boost confidence through our specifically tailored classes which aim to promote creativity, individuality, improve technique and allow all children to learn new skills that will help them to succeed in whichever path they choose.

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. Meet The Team

Principal - Emma Miller

Emma has trained in Musical Theatre and holds a  First Class Honours Degree in Drama and Applied Theatre. In conjunction with University and Drama school she holds a PGCE in Secondary Education and has a strong teaching background in Drama and The Performing Arts. Emma has performed since the tender age of 4, on the West End Stage, in Charity Events and around other parts of the UK. She has trained and developed her craft with some of the best producers, directors and choreographers that London has to offer, and has gained an extensive amount of knowledge from them which she hopes to pass down to her students.

Emma believes that the Performing Arts is a life enhancing subject which provides students with opportunities to respond creatively and organically whilst allowing them to build, grow, create and perform in a safe, engaging and thriving environment. Her main ambition for Stagecoach Guildford North is to develop and create an environment where the students are nurtured and feel comfortable enough to step out of their comfort zones, challenging themselves whilst learning new skills.

Ultimately, Emma has quickly realised that the most empowering and exciting environment in which to use the performing arts is one which directly involves young people and that is why she is proud to be the principle of Guildford North.
