Welcome to Stagecoach Gloucester where we provide quality training in performing arts for 4-18yr olds. We pride ourselves on developing skills in performing arts as well as developing creativity, imagination and teamwork. We deliver high quality training in singing, dancing and acting from our team of expert teachers. We use an inclusive approach, nurturing and supporting all of our students, whether they are looking for a career in theatre, looking to build confidence or to have fun and make new friends.
At Stagecoach Gloucester, we love performing to an audience and look for opportunities to perform on stage whenever possible! We also have a range of workshops from professional artists and summer workshops.

Coming up in 2020...

We are thrilled to announced that this term is our SHOW TERM. We will be having lots of fun rehearsing, expanding our skills and of course, performing on stage! Our annual musical production this year is ANNIE JR. Friends and family will be invited to watch our fully costumed and lit show in the Spring.

Strictly Star Performance

We are delighted to announce that our Performance Troupe have been invited to perform alongside Strictly Star Kristina Rihanoff and Dancing on Ice winner Jake Quickenden! Auditions for our performance troupe are held annually in September. Speak to Steph for more details.

Weekly Classes

Mini Stages (for ages 2-4 yrs)

Mini Stages
Stagecoach Mini Stages (for 2 -4 year olds) 45 Minute Classes are a fun and exciting way for you and your child to actively experience the performing arts in a comfortable, relaxed and safe environment.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Stephanie Francis

Stephanie has trained classically (Grade 8 Singing, Grade 7 Piano and Grade 5 Theory) as well as having a strong musical theatre background, performing with musical theatre companies around the South West.
Steph has been part of various choirs ever since she can remember and now performs in and around Bristol. She studied at Dartington College of Arts in Theatre and Choreography, continuing her passion for music as she studied.  
Stephanie has been teaching for Stagecoach as a vocal coach for over 5 years and even attended Stagecoach as a student!! Steph has studied creative arts therapies at a masters level including child development which has fuelled her passion for developing young creative minds. Steph's approach encourages students in all elements of performance, helps to build confidence, learn new skills and work as an ensemble.
