For over 30 years, we have delivered outstanding part-time performing arts training for children aged 2 to 18. Every week, students take part in dance, drama and singing, led by experienced teachers and industry professionals who know how to bring out their best.
 
Our classes are energetic, creative and confidence building. Students develop real life skills such as confidence, resilience, stamina, clear communication, vocal projection and strong teamwork, all while having a huge amount of fun.
 
Stagecoach Eastbourne is the perfect place for young people to express themselves, grow their skills and discover what they are truly capable of.

Two Week Trial

Enrol your child for a Two Week Trial at Stagecoach. They will come along to the school, experience our singing, dancing and acting classes and meet the teachers and other students. If your child loves to sing, dance and act or needs a little confidence boost, this is a fantastic way for children to experience everything that Stagecoach offers.

Mini Stages (for ages 2-4 yrs)

Mini Stages
Our 45-minute Mini Stages classes offer a fun, interactive introduction to the performing arts. Designed for you and your little one to explore singing, dancing, and acting together in a safe, relaxed, and welcoming environment.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages

Our 90-minute Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, giving young performers the chance to learn key skills in each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting each week. These fun and engaging sessions build skills and confidence, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.
 

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Our 3-hour weekly Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Nick Larkin

Nick had an intense musical background routed in singing, piano and violin. He gained a place at the Guildford School of Acting at the tender age of 18, where he trained for 3 years, graduating with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre.

After graduating Nick spent a short chapter of his life working as an actor, playing roles such as 'Schlomo' in the National tour of Fame and 'Brujon' in Les Miserables in Concert. He did however, quickly realise acting wasn't really his calling and has since become a Musical Director. Nick has worked at many of the country's leading Drama Schools inc. Arts Ed, Sylvia Young and GSA as an MD and singing coach.

Musical Directing Credits include; Little Shop of Horrors, Fiddler on The Roof, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ‘i’, This Too Shall Pass, Cabaret, Sideshow, Talk of The Town, Daydream Believer (World Premier), Payback the Musical – Riverside, Hammersmith, MD and Choir Master on West End Men – Vaudeville and Carnival.

Nick has worked at many Stagecoaches across the south of England and is extremely passionate about the confidence and joy that performing arts can bring into young people’s lives. He is very proud to be the Principal of Stagecoach Eastbourne.
