Shows are the highest of standards, and classwork is inspirational and exciting.

As a stage school, our aim is to develop children's potential in singing, acting and dance and to stretch their imagination and build their confidence to perform in life if not on stage.

Main school students

Children are split into age groups. Stage 1 (Superstars) are 6-8yrs. Stage 2 (Megastars) are 9-11yrs and Stage 3 (Future Stars) are 12-16yrs. Each class is 55 minutes with different teachers for each discipline. All teachers are professional performers: Singing, acting or dance. There's a 15 minute snack break to recharge!

Early Stages children

Early Stages is for ages 4-6yrs. There are three parts in the 90 minutes- singing and drama in one class and dance is in the hall. Classes have 18 children maximum with one teacher and one assistant. There are three breaks: toilet, drink and ‘tell us your news’. Parents don’t stay because we are teaching the children to be confident on their own.

Further Stages

This group of students are generally 15+. Principal Gabrielle can help in deciding whether a student is better suited to Stage 3 (Future Stars) or Further Stages. Furthers generally have a good deal of performing arts experience behind them.

Back after the interval

These children are experiencing a once in a lifetime boredom right now with COVID-19. They are watching too much TV, spending too long on their phones and losing their contact with their friends. Give them something special when we’re all out of this. Stagecoach. It makes children happy and with no devices, it’s really that simple.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!
