Show Term - Aladdin!

Spring term is our show term, and we are thrilled to announce that our students will be putting on the hit Disney musical Aladdin! The students and teachers are all so excited to start rehearsals in January 2020!

Our Performance Troupe stormed the stage at the Elevate showcase in November with their incredible Girl Power piece! We always look to produce more performing opportunities for our students in proper theatres and we will be announcing the plans for this term's Performance Troupe very soon!

This Summer we took our Performance Troupe to the West End! The children had the opportunity to perform in Her Majesty's Theatre and they totally ROCKED the house! We had some amazing feedback from Head Office... 'Wow! – there is real passion when you perform in ensemble! Now this is musical theatre!'

Stagecoach Cobham students have recorded the songs from 7 BRAND NEW musicals with The School Musicals company - winners of 'Outstanding Musical Theatre Resources 2019 at The Music Teacher Awards For Excellence. We have just scheduled our eighth session with more batches of Cobham students taking part!

We accept Childcare vouchers as payment! Childcare vouchers are an employee benefit for all eligible working parents. The part of your gross salary you exchange for childcare vouchers is tax-free and exempt from National Insurance contributions. Because of this, you can make savings of up to £933 a parent, a year.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Birthdays & Celebrations

We understand that with the increasing demands on parents, juggling the pressures of work and family life, time is of the essence. Therefore Stagecoach Parties provide a way to remove the stress from what should be a day of celebration for everyone and allow you to sit back, relax and let us do all the work! Whether they want to be fairies, pirates or detectives, there is a Stagecoach Party for everyone!

Meet The Team

Principal - Roxy Southern

After teaching at Stagecoach Cobham for 4 years, I am thrilled to be taking over as Principal!

From a young age I have always loved performing. Through my childhood years I performed with the youth theatre company Songtime in shows such as 'Annie' and 'Barnum' at the Wimbledon Theatre.

I began to work professionally at the age of 13 in commercials, theatre, film, TV and presenting, before going on to train at the Guildford School of Acting.

I continued my professional career with credits including playing Cassie in the hit Nickelodeon TV series 'House of Anubis' and touring Italy as Sandy in 'Grease'.

I have always been passionate about teaching and taught for many years in dance, drama and singing. I found working with children thoroughly rewarding and looked to branch out into children's entertainment.

For the next 5 years, alongside my teaching at Stagecoach Cobham, I worked for Bella Parties as a princess entertainer and event’s organiser, making children laugh and giving them an experience, they'll never forget!

When the opportunity arose to take over Stagecoach Cobham, I knew this was my moment to make a difference. It means a lot to be able to give back to the community that I grew up in, and to ignite and nurture a passion of performing in their young people.

We have a fantastic team at Stagecoach Cobham, and I look forward to building on the success of the school and creating life changing opportunities for all the students!
