Stagecoach Chorleywood

Welcome to Stagecoach Chorleywood.

If you are interested in our Friday after school classes, please visit our sister school Stagecoach Rickmansworth.

We are a local, family run school providing high quality, part-time training in the performing arts to children aged 4-6 yrs and 6-18 years.  Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes - stretching young imaginations, building confidence and life skills whilst always having lots of fun every weekend.  We love to perform and each year we host a show at Watersmeet, a Christmas show at our schools, demos for parents to come to and we even take a group of students to perform in The West End!  We offer regular discounted trips to the West End and encourage those students who want to audition for professional work to go for it!  As a Lamda Centre, we offer optional Lamda exams for ages 5yrs+ in Verse and Prose, Acting or Musical Theatre. We welcome all ages and abilities to our school.

Students come to our school for many reasons.  Some have gone on to gain professional work and go to drama school, whilst others prefer to focus on having fun, making new friends and developing their confidence and life skills.  Our tutors are all highly trained performers who are passionate about teaching and combine their own performing careers with nurturing and inspiring our students.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!
