Welcome to Stagecoach Cheltenham where children join us to experience top quality training in performing arts from 4 to 18yr olds. We offer an enjoyable, relaxed environment where your children’s creativity can flow, their confidence can grow and they will develop important techniques across a range of performing arts, whether their interest is with drama, dance or singing, our qualified teachers are experienced in every aspect of theatre and performing arts, we can offer one of the best environments to help your child develop skills; whether they are pursuing a career in theatre or coming to have fun. We offer a rich, balanced environment where children are wholeheartedly encouraged to find their confidence through drama, dance and singing – whilst having lots of fun and meeting many new friends along the way.
 
At Stagecoach Cheltenham we love performing and take every opportunity we can, from sharing our work with friends and family to performing a full show. We also welcome professionals who workshop with us and look forward to our Easter and Summer Holiday workshops.

JOSEPH CHOIR

We are thrilled to be the Choir joining the National Tour of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when it comes to The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham in August! Rehearsals are going well!! ANOTHER AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR WONDERFUL STUDENTS.

Our Two Week Trial

We are now enrolling for the two week trial for AUTUMN TERM starting 7th September for our classes in Drama, Singing and Dance at Stagecoach Cheltenham. Classes are held within the fantastic facilities at National Star College, Cheltenham, GL53 9QU on Saturdays. PLEASE ENROL BELOW

Childcare Vouchers

We are delighted to announce that Stagecoach Cheltenham is now registered with Ofsted, which means we can now accept Childcare Vouchers for all our classes and workshops. PERFORMANCE TROUPE

What a fantastic opportunity for our Troupe age from 7 to 15 years when they took to the stage at St David's Hall in Cardiff as part of a regional performance a huge 2000 seat venue and we loved every minute!! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Sharon has been Principal in Cheltenham since 1999, having been involved in the care and education of children and young people for the past 26 years. She enjoys all aspects of performance and supporting the training of young people who share her passion.
