Stagecoach Chelmsford

Welcome to Stagecoach Chelmsford!

We are currently enrolling students for our Autumn Term, which runs from September; please book early, as we have very limited places available.

Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential and confidence, through singing, acting and dance classes for kids.

At Stagecoach Chelmsford we stretch young imaginations, building confidence and communication skills...while having FUN! We provide a warm, family friendly environment where EVERY child matters; in our presentations, no one gets lost in a sea of faces and all children have speaking roles. We look forward to hearing from you.

stagecoachathome: LIVE!

We have worked with our talented teachers to create a calendar of fun and exciting classes for our students to attend. Our three disciplines, singing, dancing and acting classes will be delivered to you every Saturday from 16th May. All you need is access to a computer and a safe space so your child can jump straight back into Stagecoach!

Temporary Class Closure

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, all Stagecoach classes are currently suspended. We will be back very soon!

It's showtime!

This term, which commences on January 4th/5th, all of our students will be working towards a fully costumed show. There will be speaking roles for everyone, with songs and dances galore!

Inspection 2019

Our recent inspection gave us a brilliant “Exceeds expectations" in all areas! The inspector praised the quality of the teaching, progress of the students, inclusion of students with SEN and "warm and welcoming environment".

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
