Stagecoach Buckingham

Stagecoach offers a safe environment where talent can be nurtured and provides a range of performance opportunities combined with week to week classes in singing, acting and dance for children aged 4-18 years.

Many students of Stagecoach go on to train professionally and work in the performance industry but also at the heart of Stagecoach is Creative Courage For Life; a place to build confidence, explore creativity and develop life and social skills, that children can draw upon beyond   being with us at Stagecoach.

Our week to week term time classes take place in a fun and energetic performance environment - so come a long and be good at being you!

A Sparkling Performance

Our Stagecoach students recently performed at 'The Buckingham Town Light Switch On'; marking the end of our fabulous Autumn term and the start of the festive holidays. Our students performed with energy and charisma and we were incredibly proud of them! Same time next year? LEFT: Two of our talented Main Stages performers!

Early Stages Performance

Early Stages were buzzing to show off their performance skills in 'Billy No Buzz'. They were all amazing and really took us on a magical journey to help Billy realise that just because sometimes you may feel a little different you can still be the best at being yourself, just like we all are at Stagecoach.

Beauty And The Beast

Congratulations to our talented Stagecoach Buckingham students for their performance. We joined with over 12,500 other Stagecoach students in a record-breaking attempt to achieve the largest number of simultaneous performances of one show nationwide and abroad. Our students were amazing - well done! Photo Credit: Mann Bros. Media

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Meet The Team

Principal - Tilly James

Tilly has been a part of the Stagecoach family for over eight years and is thrilled to now be furthering her Stagecoach journey as the Principal of Stagecoach Buckingham. As a previous singing teacher for Stagecoach Tilly has first handedly witnessed the positive impact that the creative arts can have on children and their unique life journey.

Passionate for the arts Tilly started her training aged 11 at the Arts Educational School, Tring Park. She then furthered her training with East 15 Acting school and gained a performance degree with London College of Music.

Tilly has performed professionally, singing in Jazz bands, cabarets, short films and pantomimes but teaching and working with children in a creative way has always been a constant part of her professional career.

As a triple threat, Tilly has taught a variety of disciplines for Stagecoach in both the Main School and Early Stages and has been part of the process when preparing students for professional events such as Her Majesties and the National Theatre.

Tilly has choreographed and devised material for the holiday workshops both around London and further a field and has taught drama and music in primary and secondary schools - where she developed innovative  ways in which to engage and ignite students enthusiasm for the arts.

Tilly is extremely excited to have the opportunity to inspire and work with the children of Stagecoach.
