NEW TERM 12th Sept

WE ARE BACK! Stagecoach starts again on the 12th September for more of what our students love best; fun with friends learning in drama, dance and singing. We still have some space - act now to book. WE CAN'T WAIT!

May Concert 2021

In July 2018 we got together with Disney to perform World Record breaking concert of Beauty and the Beast. It was an incredible day and evening of song and we made some amazing memories with our fellow students from across the city. In May of next year we are planning our next big concert with all of our sister schools - stay tuned!

What our Parents say!

"The skills and confidence she has learnt and gained at Stagecoach have given her a fantastic approach to all areas in her life. Florence has gone from struggling socially with other children and lacking self confidence to easily making friends. I couldn’t recommend Stagecoach Keynsham highly enough, was certainly the best decision we made!"

Page to Stage Jan 2020

Main School - our theme this term is performance inspired by favourite literature. We'll look at some brilliant pieces of theatre from January to March 2020 across the disciplines. This is a demo term which means that you will be invited to come and watch what the students have been working on at the end of term: 21st March.

Stagecoach Live

This December our Performance Troupe performed a piece about loss of war at the Stagecoach Charity Gala. Along with nine other schools our students performed a moving piece in original uniforms as soldiers, mothers and evacuees. We were picked out of hundreds to perform for a host of VIPS at the international flagship event in the West End.

RSL Awards Autumn 19

Rock School Ltd is a globally recognised, specialist awarding body for the performing arts. These hugely popular qualifications were created for Stagecoach and this Autumn we take part. The beauty of these exams are that all students are involved in performances that we create, whether they choose to be assessed or not.

Keynsham Showcase 2019

Next term we look forward to celebrating the talent in our schools with a local showcase for all to enjoy. Following the success of our annual performances at the Keynsham Music Festival, we look forward to performing for family and friends and bringing some of the Stagecoach magic to the end of March.

Performance Troupe

At Stagecoach Keynsham we have a Performance Troupe that meet at lunchtimes and work on Musical Theatre pieces to perform at extra shows and festivals. The troupe is comprised of Stage 2s and 3s from both morning and afternoon schools, and made up of students who want to focus on a high level of performance.

War Horse Workshop

Last term we enjoyed a Warhorse Workshop with Associate Director of Movement and Puppetry with Warhorse - Matthew Forbes. All the students had an 80 minute workshop and learned how to 'animate' a person made from paper. It was a fascinating learning experience making the puppet 'breathe' and have 'weight' - both important to an audience.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!
