Pirates and Mermaids

Early Stages became Pirates and Mermaids this term when the performed their show on the stage in front of parents and friends. We took a swashbuckling adventure across the seas joined by a parrot, and lots of lovely swishing mermaids! Mrs. Pirate also made an appearance with a poem, and some lifeguards appeared to keep everyone in check!

Performance Troupe

This term Alex led the Performance Troupe in a piece from KInky Boots in preparation for the Keynsham Music Festival. We love this event as brings together the best in local talent and is a fabulous week of music, dance and the arts for the community. We always perform on the final day - Sunday. Congratulations to all of our talented students!

New School

As of September we will be opening a new Main School on site at Wellsway to meet the demand of our talented up and coming students who are 6+. The new school will be in Claverton block right next to where current classes run in the Mendip Building. Classes will be taught by two expert workshop leaders and the theme will be Circus!

Autumn Theme

Next term we will be taking inspiration from Little Shop of Horrors with our show term! This story of man eating plant who takes over a community has shed loads of comic appeal and an amazing score. In Main School everyone has a role to play and lines to say on stage - even if your child has never performed before.

Early Stages 4-6 years

We have limited space available in our very popular Early Stages classes with teacher Jo Browne for September. We like to work on themed terms with lots of fun games and exercises, all designed to prepare your child in the basics of performance whether they go on to pursue a career in the arts or use them as skills for life - they feel confident!

Summer School

This year for the first time ever we are running a summer school 14-18 August! We will be working on a show in a week written by Keynsham Founder Principal Di Waterman. Dash Through the Decades is a story of musical theatre in film and you can be a part of the fun - spaces are still available! The show will be on the Friday at 5pm

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama.
