Into The Woods Jr 2019

Summer 2019 sees the return of our annual show - which will be Into The Woods JR. This Broadway show was made into a film starring Meryl Streep; this story sees popular fairy tales become entangled with an incredible score by Stephen Sondheim. We very much look forward to staging at the end of our term in July 2019 - come and join the fun!

Stagecoach Live

This March our Performance Troupe performed a piece about loss of war at the Stagecoach Live event in Westcliff on Sea. Along with nine other schools our students performed a moving piece in original uniforms as soldiers, mothers and evacuees. Next term we look forward to a Community term - and raising money for charity.

Pirates and Mermaids

Early Stages become Pirates and Mermaids this term when they perform their show on the stage in front of parents and friends. We take a swashbuckling adventure across the seas with a parrot and lots of lovely swishing mermaids! Mrs. Pirate will also make an appearance with a poem, and some lifeguards may appear to keep everyone in check!

Keynsham Showcase 2019

Next term we look forward to celebrating the talent in our schools with a local showcase for all to enjoy. Following the success of our annual performances at the Keynsham Music Festival, we look forward to performing for family and friends and bringing some of the Stagecoach magic to the end of March.

Bath Xmas Market

This year our talented Performance Troupe will be raising money for Stagecoach's chosen charity YoungMinds. Join us at the beautiful Christmas Market in Bath on the 25th November and hear them sing twice over the course of the afternoon. YoungMinds work with children and young people all over the country offering advice, help and support.

Beauty and the Beast 2018

In July we got together with Disney to bring you a World Record breaking concert of Beauty and the Beast. This timeless musical concert was performed by our students as part of Stagecoach national bid for the world record. It was an incredible day and evening of song and we made some amazing memories with our fellow students from across the city.

Summer School - Alice!

From the moment students arrive at the workshop, they’ll be caught up in the excitement of fun and creativity whilst making new friends. They will experience the process of casting, rehearsing and performing, develop confidence and skills in several memorable and inspiring days. Join us for a show in a week! Newcomers welcome!

Bristol Hippodrome 2018

Last term for the first time, and to help celebrate our 30th anniversary we performed live at the Bristol Hippodrome with the first Stagecoach Showcase. Every student had the opportunity of treading these famous boards, and had a glimpse into the wonderful world of this beautiful theatre.

Performance Troupe

At Stagecoach Keynsham we have a Performance Troupe that meet at lunchtimes and work on Musical Theatre pieces to perform at extra shows and festivals. The troupe is comprised of Stage 2s and 3s from both morning and afternoon schools, and made up of students who want to focus on a high level of performance.

War Horse Workshop

Last term we enjoyed a Warhorse Workshop with Associate Director of Movement and Puppetry with Warhorse - Matthew Forbes. All the students had an 80 minute workshop and learned how to 'animate' a person made from paper. It was a fascinating learning experience making the puppet 'breathe' and have 'weight' - both important to an audience.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama.
