Noticeboard

Bristol Hippodrome 2018

Breaking News! Next year for the first time, and to help celebrate our 30th anniversary we will be performing live in March at the Bristol Hippodrome with the first Stagecoach Showcase. Every student will have the opportunity of treading these famous boards, and have a glimpse into the wonderful world of this beautiful theatre.

Beauty and the Beast 2018

Disney have got together with Stagecoach to bring you a World Record breaking attempt of performing Beauty and the Beast on the 1st July 2018 and Stagecoach Keynsham will be taking part! This timeless musical will be performed by our students as part of national bid for the world record. You can join the fun too!

Autumn Theme

This term we're taking inspiration from Little Shop of Horrors with our show term! This story of man eating plant that takes over a community has shed loads of comic appeal and an amazing score. In Main School everyone has a role to play and lines to say on stage - even if your child has never performed before.

War Horse Workshop

This term we enjoyed a Warhorse Workshop with Associate Director of Movement and Puppetry with Warhorse - Matthew Forbes. All the students had an 80 minute workshop and learned how to 'animate' a person made from paper. It a was fascinating learning experience making the puppet 'breathe' and have 'weight' - both important to an audience.

Performance Troupe

In two weeks our super talented Performance Troupe take to the West End stage to perform our mix of Newsies and Kinky Boots. Coach Alex along with all 17 students have worked so hard and the piece is looking amazing!! We can't wait to see them perform live at Her Majesty's Theatre on the 19th November.

Early Stages 4-6 years

We have limited space available in our very popular Early Stages classes with teacher Jo Browne for January. We like to work on themed terms with lots of fun games and exercises, all designed to prepare your child in the basics of performance whether they go on to pursue a career in the arts or use them as skills for life - they feel confident!

Pirates and Mermaids

Early Stages became Pirates and Mermaids last term when the performed their show on the stage in front of parents and friends. We took a swashbuckling adventure across the seas joined by a parrot, and lots of lovely swishing mermaids! Mrs. Pirate also made an appearance with a poem, and some lifeguards appeared to keep everyone in check!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy.
