Early Stages Show

Sending a massive well done to our Early Stages students (aged 4-6 years) who took to the stage last term to perform their annual show at South Hill Park's Studio Theatre. You are all absolutely fantastic, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you!

West End Performance!

We would like to say an enormous well done to our team of students who were recently invited to perform in London's West End at Her Majesty's Theatre. This talented bunch took to the stage and their performance was simply fantastic. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them!

We are delighted to announce our new online "Stagecoachathome" sessions! Our aim is to provide some joy for our lovely students through the medium of performing arts. Each week, we are sending out singing, dancing and drama tutorials that are packed with excitement so that everyone can keep up their moral and skill, whilst staying safe at home!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Holiday Workshops

Meet The Team

Principal - Charlie Cordwell

Charlie was born on the beautiful island of Jersey, and has been involved in the theatre from a very young age, starting dance at the tender age of 3! Before leaving the island, Charlie achieved her level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education, gaining experience working with children in both nurseries and primary schools. It was at this point that Charlie started teaching musical theatre locally, and discovered per passion for teaching performing arts! To further develop her skills, she then went on to gain a place at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting, where she trained for 3 years to achieve a First Class BA(Hons) Degree in musical theatre.

Having worked for Stagecoach for over 5 years as a teacher and workshop leader throughout Surrey, West Sussex and London, Charlie fell in love with the ethos of the school, which is what has led her here today. Along side this, she has been lucky enough to teach for some other fantastic establishments such as Sylvia Young Theatre School, STOMP and the Jersey Academy of Dancing.
Charlie is truly passionate about teaching the next generation the life skills that can be learnt through performing arts, as well as honing the talents of the fantastic students at Bracknell North!
