Stagecoach Bournemouth

The aim of Stagecoach is to increase the self-esteem and confidence of its students by having fun and encouraging them to take part in as many opportunities as possible. All students are included in performances held during the year, enjoying the experience of performing to family and friends to increase their development. Peta took over at Bournemouth Stagecoach in April 2011 and still absolutely loves every Stagecoach week as if it were her first. We have had children star in excess of 20 local films for the local university and also a child in a short film for CBeebies, we are currently auditioning for a locally filmed professional film for CBBC.

It's that time again!

It's nearly time for our annual Parents Do Stagecoach day! We always have such a fantastic day when we ask the parents (and grandparents and siblings) to join our Students in their usual Stagecoach Classes. We finish the day with performances and recitals by both the students and the grown ups and we collect lots of laughs along the way.

We raised the roof!

What a fantastic night we had recently when we hosted an event at The Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre for local Stagecoach Schools. 67 Stagecoach Bournemouth students performed to a sell out audience of 1400and then took part in the finale with a total of 440 students. It really was an incredible night, well done everybody!

Drama School Success!

Stagecoach Bournemouth are extremely proud to announce that Further Stages student Matilda has successfully auditioned and has been offered a place at one of the Country's leading Drama Schools Mountview Academy, in London. With over 1500 auditionees for just 32 places (half of which are for girls) this really is an amazing achievement.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
