Stagecoach Bournemouth

The aim of Stagecoach is to increase the self-esteem and confidence of its students by having fun and encouraging them to take part in as many opportunities as possible. All students are included in performances held during the year, enjoying the experience of performing to family and friends to increase their development. Peta took over at Bournemouth Stagecoach in April 2011 and still absolutely loves every Stagecoach week as if it were her first. We have had children star in excess of 20 local films for the local university and also a child in a short film for CBeebies, we are currently auditioning for a locally filmed professional film for CBBC.

G4 invite us to sing!

We are over the moon to be to announce that Stagecoach Bournemouth have been asked to provide a choir to be part of the G4 Christmas tour in December. Emails went out to students last week inviting them to take part. There are a few spaces left in the choir, so current students should get in touch with Principal Peta if they'd like to take part.

Autumn Term 2019

Don't forget that we like to give you all a little time to settle back into school and your new classes before we start our Stagecoach term. Our Autumn term starts on Saturday 21st September and we can't wait to see you all then.

Matilda Holiday Workshop

What fun we had this year during our sell out 'Matilda the Musical' summer holiday workshop. 45 revolting children joined us, and the little maggots all had the best time! (Those are show references, they aren't really revolting or maggots!). A fantastic week which ended in a very slick performance of the famous show. Well done everyone!

An Udderly great Moosical

What a great Moosical this year at our Early Stages summer workshop. We had great fun putting together a performance on our last day of 'There's a sunflower in my supper'. We had a super week, with one student saying as they left; "Can we do this again next week please?".

75 years service!

It always give us such joy to present our long service awards at Stagecoach Bournemouth. Look how many awards were given out this term. Between them, these amazing students have completed a whopping 75 years at Stagecoach. How impressive is that? Two students received awards for 10 years or over. Congratulations to them all.

Once a year in the main school and also in the Further Stages School at Stagecoach Bournemouth we award our 'Student of the Year' shield. We were very proud to present this recently to our fantastic Main school Stage 3 student Amelie and the super talented Nikita, in our Further Stages School. Many congratulations to Amelie & Nikita

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.
