Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages

Our 90-minute Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, giving young performers the chance to learn key skills in each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting each week. These fun and engaging sessions build skills and confidence, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Our 3-hour weekly Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Emily Edwards

Emily has been the Principal of Stagecoach Ringwood and Wimborne since 2013, and is now extremely proud to be the Principal of Stagecoach Performing Arts Bournemouth. It is the best job in the world being Principal to these friendly and busy schools! Emily believes in high quality tuition that supports and encourages every student, no matter what their ability in the Performing Arts. She has strived to run welcoming schools that are exciting and different every term, and so fun that students never want to leave!

This is the 18th year Emily has worked for Stagecoach and is no stranger to the Stagecoach family! Emily started as a Dance teacher at Stagecoach New Milton and for Stagecoach abroad, putting on shows for students in their Summer holidays.

Emily could dance before she could walk and has been lucky enough to teach, choreograph and perform in a wide variety of dance styles that include RAD Ballet, Contemporary, ISTD and IDTA Jazz, Modern, Disco and Rock & Roll. This has allowed her to teach, perform and compete in the UK & different countries!
Alongside this, Emily is a qualified Secondary School Dance teacher; she holds a BA Honours degree in Dance and Choreography and has taught Nursery-KS5 Performing Arts lessons including GCSE, BTEC First, BTEC National, A-Level Dance and Rock School LTD qualifications. She has also choreographed and helped put on shows for local amateur dramatic companies.

It is a strong ethos of Emily’s to believe in every individual, whether students wish to pursue a career in the Performing arts or take a more academic route. Stagecoach Ringwood encourage every student to believe in themselves no matter what their future career path, it is proven that students who engage in the arts are three times more likely to get a degree and the employability of those students is not only higher but they are more likely to stay in employment. Emily hopes students will come and visit Stagecoach and make life long memories and firm friends. No matter what students to choose to go on to next, we will support and encourage along the way, making it possible!
