Stagecoach Biggleswade

A very warm welcome from Stagecoach Performing Arts School Biggleswade. We are a passionate, enthusiastic and fun team who provide quality training in singing, dance and drama for children aged from 4-18 years. At our school all pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential, develop their confidence, make new friends, have fun, and learn new life skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. We are not only teaching performing arts, we are also strong advocates of Creative Courage for Life. We focus on a range of skills across all three disciplines and build on these each term. There are performance opportunities every year and the children work hard to meet the high standards we set ourselves whilst also having fun! Being at Stagecoach opens up many different opportunities for the children such as workshops, theatre trips, exams, and access to a variety of casting opportunities for both film and stage.

New students do not need to audition – all they need is commitment, enthusiasm, and a love of performing arts.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Stagecoach has been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. As an ex-student at Stagecoach I have first hand experience of all the different life skills you learn here! I am a strong advocate for Creative Courage for Life. I am passionate about performing arts and have taken part in many productions such as Little shop of Horrors, Bugsy Malone, High School Musical, Les Miserable and many more! During my time as a student at Stagecoach I gained LAMDA qualifications. I then went on to study at RADA for two years and in this time was lucky enough to experience performing in a London theatre! I am currently a primary school teacher and have been for 4 years. I love working with children and watching them learn and grow.

I have experienced first hand just how much of a positive impact Stagecoach has on children’s lives and the opportunities that are available to them as a result of Stagecoach. I am passionate about bringing this to as many children as I can and I am excited for the journey ahead!
