The Shakespeare Shake-up!
This week, students from Stagecoach Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead began their exploration of Shakespeare's world famous Sonnets. Under the guidance of Drama Teacher Rachael (who directed our Film and TV scenes so brilliantly last term), students are exploring Shakespeare's sonnets before creating their own scenes and stories using his work as inspiration. Their creativity and imagination are in full flow and we look forward to unveiling some of their fantastic work during our end-of-term Demo.

Working in Perfect Harmony
Our harmony work has reached a new level this term as we introduced the students to their toughest test yet - the dreaded Beach Boys! With their complex close-part harmony and potentially tricky counter-melodies, The Beach Boys' style offers the perfect challenge for this group of students, growing more and more confident with their harmony work. As with most techniques, practise makes perfect with harmonies and this is hugely evident with the students' progression over the last few terms. Well done all you Stagecoachers, keep up the good work!

The Bravery of Performance
We were so proud of our Early Stages groups this week as they very bravely performed their work for our Main Stages students. They were warmly rewarded for their courage and ability with a round of rapturous applause! Performing in front of your school mates can be incredibly daunting, but we are so lucky to have such a warm and supportive group of kids at Stagecoach Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead - always ready to cheer each other on. Well done everyone!
